The food and mango raspberry mimosas were exquisite! Our waiter, Julio was very attentive and polite. We will definitely go back for more. We highly recommend the smoked salmon toast and chilaquiles.

Went the day after Mother's Day 2024 (a Monday for lunch) It was dead. There was one other table when we got there. Our waiter was kind but the service was horrible. Not only were we celebrating late Mother's Day/and a birthday as well, our drinks were never full, we had to ask for so many things and anything and everything we asked for was at least a 10 minute wait. We asked for silverware once the food arrived and they only brought knives (had to ask for freaking forks!) had to ask for straws and they only brought 1, when we asked for straws again they brought 10 (there were only 3 of us so as far as I was concerned that was a screw you) when we asked for paper napkins they brought us the long brown rectangle rough rectangle type you'd get from the bathrooms, they only cleared one plate at a time although we were all done with our plates, they knew we were celebrating a bday but never offered us a desert menu in case anyone else wanted desert... I could go on and on and on and on..... There were only 3 tables in there the whole time we were there and were ignored most the time. Always always had to ask for water, ice tea refills, etc. Worst experience ever for not seeing my mom in months and meeting her there (I drove from Riverside, she drove all the way from San Diego). We all wanted the steak sandwich which they were out of and on top of that, the poor bday lady got sick before we left and she was stuck in the bathroom for a good hour before we got to drive home. A cute waiter with a good personality doesn't cut it because the service was aweful! Most the time we had to grab random people walking by to ask them for things but pretty sure they were all on the same page of not caring whatsoever. Asking for desert menu, 10 mins. Asking for the bill, another 10 mins. It was DEAD in there! Never ever going back, save your money and go see pretty roses elsewhere where they have better service and care about their guests no matter what day of the week it is.

Beautiful delicious meal. Staff was friendly & efficient. Had a reservation but didn't really need it as lunch time mid week had a low customer volume. Will returning for sure.

Went to South Coast for lunch. First strike was the wine. For a winery there our was a bit small and it was served in a wine glass that looked like it came from a diner. My wife got a Caesar salad. The flavor was good but they should have put some shaved parmigiana and croutons on it. I orders a cold cut panini. There was very little meat on it. It had a slice of meat and a few salami slices. I ended up putting all the meat on one half and it was still poor.

Not a fan of the lunch menu. Had the salmon burger and too big of a bun. And the burger just fell apart. We are used to the breakfast menu which we always order from. But they stop serving from 11am-11:30am Will need to go early next time.

Definitely not our best dining experience here for dinner. My wife ordered the halibut which she liked. Two of us ordered the short rib which was dry and tasted like a chuck roast. One of our friends got the seafood linguine which was fair to be nice. Service was better than the food. Hopefully better next time. when you spend $500 on dinner for five people, you expect better

We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday! We were seated immediately and were delighted to see that all of our special requests were acknowledged. We started with champagne and absolutely loved the salmon entree! We also appreciated the chef's personal touch of checking on each table. The ambiance has a charming rustic feel. We'll definitely be coming back!

We have been to the restaurant a number of times including several to celebrate our anniversary. Mark was our server once again and made the night perfectly paced for a special occasion. The service is consistently excellent, the prices comparable to the area, and the atmosphere echos the wine country location. Mixed drinks are well crafted, a fair pour, and the wine list has something to cover most interests including a selection of South Coast wines by the glass. The food, from the calamari appetizer to the main courses of braised short ribs and truffle Alfredo linguini, came in sufficient quantity, were properly cooked, and were properly seasoned with well-prepared sides. The dessert menu has various choices including the cheesecake we shared, and they offer after-dinner alcohols and coffees. We will be back to enjoy the restaurant in the future as we have yet to be disappointed. Thanks again.

As always delicious! Nathan our server is consistently , pleasant, friendly and very attentive. We really appreciate that He has an excellent memory of what We enjoy. He also takes the time to welcome us and make conversation, which is tops in a world where most whom are in the service industry are rushed and lack connecting with Patrons. We stayed at south coast and had our anniversary dinner here . We got the filet and surf and turf . The lobster was under cooked and I had to send my filet back because it was rare . The service was outstanding and the dessert is probably the best I’ve ever had ! Warm butter cake is the way to go !

We went for a birthday celebration and Prime Rib night. The food was very good and the birthday Cream Brulee was delicious! Our server, although very nice and pleasant, was a little inattentive. The birthday girl was very pleased, so that's the bottom line.

I enjoyed an amazing dinner, salmon cooked to perfection and a lovely glass of sparkling Pinot Grigio. For dessert I had the butter cake and a glass of sparkling Gewurtztraminer. Service was attentive and ambience was subdued elegance.

Food was very good. Our server was pleasant. He could see that the 2 of us were On a date. We hadn’t seen each other in over 50 years so we had a lot of catching up to do. Some server’s will obnoxiously interrupt conversations, but our guy was respectful and gave us space. We really enjoyed our time at the Vineyard Rose.

The food far exceeded my anticipations. Try the Salmon, you will not regret it. I hope they never take it off the menu. HUGE compliments to the Chef. The Roasted Carrot appetizer was unexpectedly off the charts as well. Our server was casually perfect. His recommendations and descriptions of the dishes were spot-on.

We were told they had a new chef and menu. Both correct. Menu had changed since we were last there. My husband had the salmon burger, very good. I had Flatbread with salad. Very good, sauce on Flatbread was very good. Loved the atmosphere, food and service was great.

Tried the Benedict on the new menu. It was a swing and a miss. It was such a small portion. The add on Cuban pork was very dry and the avocado hollandaise sauce was flavorless. I’ve eaten there numerous times and have never had a bad meal until now. Service was excellent.

Most of the food was superb, I don’t recommend the ceviche it was disappointing. However you won’t be disappointed if ordering the charcuterie board! Excellent service. We’ll be back!

We have dined here before and always had. A wonderful experience, which is why we picked this restaurant for my birthday trip to Temecula. Sadly, the entire experience was unsatisfactory. There were 3 of us, we ordered the salmon, the lamb shanks and the seafood pasta. When the entrees were brought to the table, the runner had no idea who ordered what…even after we indicated our order, the plates were once again put down in front of the wrong person. Ordinarily this is not a big deal, but when the entrees are in the $40-$50 range and there are only 3 people at the table, a restaurant of this caliber should have gotten it right. Even though it’s not a big deal it just started the meal on the wrong note and moving the plates around made the food cold. The pasta dish was served with a cream sauce or a red sauce. My husband selected the red sauce, but got the cream sauce. The salmon was served on polenta & a mushroom congee with squash. It looked like a big mess. There was no definition of flavors and with the exception of the salmon which was perched on top it seemed as though the chef made zero effort to plate the dish. In addition, the salmon was overcooked. Only the lamb shank was good, but again, cold. I will say that the server was pleasant and the deserts were very nice.

It takes too long to order and then to be served. I’m been coming for about five years. Used to get hamburgers but refuse to pay $28 for one now. Your add on prices are unbelievable especially for steak ($16). I am a wine club member that’s still a good deal. Your meal cost are far from a good deal anymore.

Wonderful changes to the menu - thank you chefs. Nathan was our server and we always find him to be such a great server, but also so knowledgeable about the wines and champagnes. He makes the experience much better every time we are here.
