I’ve not been so disappointed with a restaurant in a very long time. I was expecting it to be a delicious and wonderful early lunch. I ordered a gem salad snd the baby gem lettuce was not fresh and delicious. If I had that lettuce in my refrigerator, I would have thrown it out. My husband ordered sausage/eggs/potatoes, which did not come with any type of bread. We ordered a cinnamon roll, which was very good. Neither of us was offered a refill on our drinks coffee and iced tea. He paid and left, never to return.

Our favorite lunch and dinner hangout. BLT , salads and avocado toast are all delicious and filling.

Amazing experience. Gorgeous ambiance, delicious food, and incredible service. The music they were playing was perfect. I highly recommend the village bakery!!!

I found this place while researching a brunch place after the Kings Mountain art fair. Was pleasantly surprised that this place was larger than expected and very nicely decorated inside and outside. Very quaint, cute place and would love to try again. Sat outside in the back patio…our waiter reminded me of Ed Norton. Ordered the best cinnamon roll to go. K tried the James Beard puffy pancakes…were good but a lot. Had side of sausage…weird that one was broken. Coffee was not hot. T and me split the blackberry crepes which were good and the avocado toast topped with arugula…was tasty but we think Parkside was better. Overall nice hidden place right next to Bucks.

Went for Sunday brunch but they just changed the menu to eliminate the French toast, which we went for. Tried other items on the menu and they were OK. Will go back for lunch next week.

I haven't been to the Village Bakery for about 10 years, and wow has it changed, but the food, ambiance and the entire staff are all stellar. The hostess read my request for a quiet table outside, and it was perfect; that is sooooo rare! I'm going back soon!

Ate inside which was a bit loud but food and service was excellent. Had salads with protein and delicious corn bread.

This was a shockingly poor experience. We have been coming to the village bakery for many years and our dinner last week with my mother in town was embarrassing. We waited nearly 15min before anyone took our drink order. We then had to ask 3 times for a cup of ice. The worst though was the fact that each meal was served separately. By the time my husband was served 20min (no exaggeration) after my oldest daughter, she was already finished. Our waitress was totally MIA and unhelpful. I’m really sad to say because we once LOVED this place, we will not be returning any time soon.
