The ambiance was the only positive aspect. The food did not justify the prices, and the service was lacking. Unfortunately, we will not return.

Mikey our server was awesome and super friendly and fun. Mimosas were great and food was good. Would go back for brunch and the reservation was a win

Although the service was superb; the food was under seasoned and bland. Our server Melissa was wonderful. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for our entrees. The prime rib was overcooked and the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese lacked any seasoning and was in desperate need of salt. My party ended up sharing the salt shaker to properly season our dishes. We were also seated outside, and although it’s not within the control of the restaurant, the excessive amount of flies made our dining experience uncomfortable and unappetizing. It was a disappointment as we had pleasantly dined at the establishment in the past, including its other downtown location. Given we were celebrating my daughter’s graduation, it was a massive disappointment and felt like a waste of an expensive outing.

Flies everywhere during our dinner. Menu items were limited. Prices were ok. Overall, I rate the experience a C.

Visited for a late Morher’s Day. Ambience was great. Seated right away due to having a reservation but it wasn’t overly busy. Service was a little slow but overall great experience! Definitely would recommend.

3 hour lunch due to the amount of people ordering food at same time! Nice enough to provide chips on the house and free appetizers coupon for next visit

We took our friends (1st time for them) we had a great experience. Dallas was a server and he was a pleasure. We customized 2 salads and they were delivered perfect.

I chose The Vig for my birthday with never trying it before. Big mistake on my part. Service was slow and sporadic. Food did not come all out at once. I didn’t get my meal until people were more than half way through theirs. The waitress tried. She’s inexperienced so I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but it just got worse as the evening went on. Everyone complained about their food. I was so embarrassed that’s what I dragged people to for my birthday. The fish and chips were too fishy. There’s good fishy and bad fishy. This was bad fishy. The steak bites my friend got were dry and the chimichurri was so inconsistent. Almost not edible on one persons plate. My husbands prime rib was bland but average. Wouldnt get it again. My other good friend ordered the chicken, her two sides were mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. They at first brought it out with butternut squash. She corrected them, they took the plate back, 10-15 minutes later, it came out with Brussels sprouts that were barely steamed. Totally different color and texture from the ones my husband received with his food. When I tell you the food was bad, I mean it. I hope the owner reads this because there are so many changes that need to be made and quick. I won’t be back but maybe you can save others… Waste of my birthday dinner and …the money, let’s not even go there. At least I had great company. The ambiance was decent because we sat outside on this beautiful day. The benches and table outside are a bit rough. Not cleaned well. Rocky. Not stable, and no cushions at all so you’re sitting on an uncomfortable wooden bench. My husband had to move to the chair because it was just so uncomfortable. Some big opportunities overall.

Second time @this location, Good & attentive service and server assured us things improved from our last visit when they just opened. . Food was just “ok.. got there early and staff told us party currently in reserved booth was leaving shortly, so waited est 15 mins. Might go back again in one year, otherwise will favor other VIG locs.
