A waterfront property with two floors have partial views of New York Harbor, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty. The 2nd Floor can accommodate 300 Seated and 350 Cocktail Style with two terraces overlooking the harbor . The 1st floor can accommodate up to 150 Seated and 200 Cocktail style and opens up to our waterside patio.

Was overall very disappointed with the lack of service and general rudeness of the staff. One of our orders arrived very late and another order had a bug crawl out of the salad. Staff was careless and defensive when we voiced our concerns. I would recommend future customers look for alternative dining options, eating here was not enjoyable.

Really like this place but service was slow and wasn’t great especially considering it was quiet and “the view” is massively obscured by the Statue of Liberty security tent. Food was good and wouldn’t stop me going back but if it was my first time I would be disappointed and service could have been better regardless of the obscured view

Really great food and great service. Our table shared the PB&J French Toast. To die for! I had the burrata scramble. Yummy! Good wine also!

They promote a beautiful view but unfortunately this was not available due to them having an event. This (the fact that I’d have no view) was not disclosed to me until 1 hour before dinner when it was too late to change my plans. I feel that this should have been disclosed.

If you are in lower Manhattan and in need of a place to stop, have a drink, snack or meal, than you should visit The View at Battery Park. Located at the very end of Manhattan in Battery Park, The View at Battery Park offers the most picturesque views of the NY harbor. Yes, there is construction around currently but you can still get stunning views from inside the restaurant. Beyond the views (of course, the namesake of the place), the menu is contemporary American food, with seasonal and creative/inventive takes on classics. For drinks I have tried the blackberry bramble (twist on a whiskey smash) and the pinky promise (think Barbie meets Singapore Sling - complete with shanken egg white foam) - both delish. My party of four enjoyed the crab cake app and the watermelon salad with prosciutto - that could have been a meal! We also had the gem lettuce caesar to start. The entrees - bone-in pork chop, shrimp linguine, and halibut - were all cooked perfectly. We were full after all this but had to try dessert. One person at the table cited a lactose intolerance and so the staff brought out a delish raspberry sorbet. And the rest shared the banana bread pudding, complete with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. We had a rather large meal and enjoyed every bit! You could easily make this into a cocktail stop to try out the fun drink menu, maybe add an app, if you've got plans for tourism around the area or dinner elsewhere. While we sat in the inside dining area, The View also offers garden seating as well as a fun backyard beer garden.

I wish we’d known that we wouldn’t have a view at The View for a special family meal. The patio was closed off for a private event.

I'd like to give a more glowing review, but despite the friendly staff and relatively reasonable pricing, the food was heavy with salt and the view of the river is obstructed by some sort of construction going on. Perhaps that's a temporary situation. Other than that, nice place

Although the food was ok and service good- it really didn’t have the views described on their site. It was too hot outside to sit in the sun so we sat inside. The ambiance was nice but you didn’t have any water views from the first floor dining area!

Went to The View at Battery Park for lunch, and had a great experience. The space is so beautiful. The halibut was delicious, and the banana bread pudding just out of this world. My server Ava and the entire team were all so wonderful. An excellent dining option in lower Manhattan for tourists and New Yorkers alike.
