We were there on a sunny day and the grounds were so serene and beautiful! The only reason I will not be back is that there were very few options on the menu without sugar for a vegetarian.

They changed the menu and no longer offer their top sellers everyone came for. No more prime rib sandwich, no panko crusted French toast and the egg rolls that were once one of my favorites are now filled with onions. I dont know if ownership or management changes but the menu and food quality has gone down for sure.

What a gorgeous place to have lunch with friends. I had no idea this place existed. Food was lovely, service was great. I can’t wait to go back!

Four stars only because Service was a little slow but that was due to an unexpected issue in the kitchen. Always a great place for food, ambiance and excellent service.

This is normally one of my "go to" restaurants when entertaining out-of-town guests or celebrating a birthday. I would typically give it a 5-star review but this visit was especially less than expected. The wait for our table was 20 minutes from our reservation time even though there were empty tables. Once seated, we were ignored for a good 10 minutes. Service was very slow in general which is not normally the case.

This was my third time dining at the veranda and my husband‘s first. I consistently find the veranda to be a wonderful venue and the food is excellent. The gardens are wonderful to walk-through. I definitely recommend experiencing the veranda at the grand traditions estate. I did not understand the question regarding “noise level“. I found the noise level to be acceptable. Thank you for providing such a great experience! Your staff are outstanding.

I had Saturday brunch with a friend for his birthday celebration. The food was very good. The place is absolutely beautiful. The service was very good. Each waitress recognized my friends birthday and gave us a complimentary birthday dessert. The prices are very reasonable. They could easily charge a lot more because of the beautiful ambience And pretty presentation of their dishes. We enjoyed a nice walk through their garden. It is a must see when you go there.

Wow, what a neat place to eat! The setting is spectacular, the food very! good, the service outstanding, and what an incredible value. Easter Brunch (well, all carte) for two was only $50 total - where other restaurants around us in Escondido wanted $85 and up EACH. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend this place!

This place is amazing, was looking for a great spot to have lunch with a friend and this is Fallbrooks best hidden gem!! Made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and couldn’t have been happier with everything. The food, ambiance, service, it was spectacular. If I lived closer I would make this a regular spot for my self. It’s Gilmore girls, Alice n wonderland, tea party vibes all in one. Absolutely loved it.

The beignets are delicious and I will definitely order on my new visit. Service was excellent and not rushed allowing us to enjoy the beautiful views from the veranda.

Beautiful grounds and the service was very good but two meals out of the 4 were terrible. The French Toast was missing all of the toppings and the omelet was missing the cheese and was tasteless.

I brought my brother from out of state for lunch and we had a wonderful meal, great service, beautiful setting and delicious food. We both had the club sandwich which was out of this world. It was more like a New York deli sandwich. Huge, delicious and enough for two meals! The fries were HOT right from the fryer and crisp in the outside, tender on the inside. I am a regular at the Veranda and highly recommend for a special occasion or just want to relax in an extraordinarily beautiful setting. Thanks again, staff and servers for another outstanding experience.

Husband & I have dined with you many times. The food is always outstanding & servers are very attentive. On one visit for brunch I had the Crab Cake Benedict. I hope to see it on the menu again in the future.

We had my two grandchildren who are 2 and 4 years old. I asked if we could get there food ordered right away. They were the slowest ever!!! I really wanted to try the lemon meringue dessert so we got that to go. It was hard meringue with fruit. I tasted no lemon!! They forgot the lemon curd!! So disappointed!! We come often and every time it is going downhill it n service. We were seated and waiting for coffee and someone called from your place to see if we were coming? I told her we are seated and waiting to order!!😳😳 I’m over the Veranda!!

Amazing scenery and ambience. The food was delicious and reasonably-priced. Service was impeccable. Avocado egg rolls, beignets, and meringue dessert with berries were so good! Will definitely be back!

Lovely hidden gem in Fallbrook. Beautiful setting, great service, reasonable prices and good food. Do not miss the beignets. Grand tradition is our favorite spot for any special occasion.

I felt a bit ignored since I guess the big group next to us knew …someone? They were celebrating a birthday and so was our group. My son’s birthday. Since they knew someone they got the special lemon meringue tart looking dessert that we heard was for February special?! It was the first time we have been there that I felt kinda ignored. Service was not as good and I was told they burned my waffle and chicken dish so things took a bit longer. I still love the food and ambiance but I was a bit disappointed this time.

The veranda was outstanding. Food was so good, and it was a very relaxing brunch. Would definitely take visitors there. After our meal we walked the gardens which was gorgeous. Looking forward to making another reservation!
