We've been here over 15 times now and we've not had a bad meal yet,our favourite menu choice tends to be the Sunday roast.

First time visit to this great pub in Egerton. Has the best beer garden I have been to. Lots of seats and even private booths to pre-book if you are eating. Varied menu. The food was good and generous portions. The service impeccable. Great atmosphere. I look forward to the next visit.

This is a truly lovely place to go to. Food is excellent and a wide variety . Really nice staff too . My first choice of place to go with family and friends.

Was a lovely experience for me and a friend , unfortunately my choice of food was a slight disappointment, I had chickpea curry and only about 10 chickpeas , the curry tasted lovely and nice rice and flatbread . Would go again as my friends food was lovely .

Excellent service and great food. Kids food could be better though. The beans were dried out. Kids should have better options as the main menu is always beautiful

Came here on Good Friday, booked for 1pm but arrived early. Wasn't a problem and our table was ready. (Pleased we did because by the time we left it was mega busy and could only just squeeze out to the door.) Food was great, we've eaten here before and was not disappointed this time either. I had the charcoaled lamb off the specials board, it was superb. Think the chef likes lamb, its on every time we come in one form or another, always good.

It was Mothering Sunday when we visited. They were really busy but you didn’t notice it from the great service and food. They gave anyone celebrating Mothering Sunday a flower and chocolate. We will be visiting again

Excellent service from booking the table to the service when we visited. Food was also excellent. Although the place was busy we never felt rushed. Fabulous place with fabulous people.

Great food and service as usual, only disappointment was it was really loud with people, think there was football or sport on. I think in the evening sports tv should not be allowed when your spending nearly £100 on a meal for two.

Had a small family gathering. Food was fantastic. Service excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend the Lancashire cheese and onion pie. Divine.

Had a meal for 11 people for an 18th. Food was excellent, everyone enjoyed it. The girl that look after our table was very thorough in making sure all our orders were correct.

I had booked a table but was disappointed when I was shown to a table next to a TV where they were showing Manchester United football match so towards the end of our meal we couldn't hear each other because of people bawling at the TV .... not my thing at all, shame really as the meal and staff were really good, just spoiled by the ethos we have around football.

Very good food and hot, very busy but still good service, waitress poppy very good and attentive. Nice atmosphere just one bad thing was a really strong smell of toilets whilst eating and stood by the bar

Had lunch with a group of ex work colleagues, now friends. We do this once per month, and since coming about six months ago for the first time, we have unanimously decided that this is definitely the place to come. Excellent food; excellent service; and friendly staff. What more could you ask for.

Awesome Sunday dinner. The best in the area. Really good price also. Two course for £20. The lamb was delicious. We travel relatively far to come here as it is that good. You won't be disappointed.

I had a roast chicken dinner that had buttery veg with it. I didn't get the veg and was given peas instead. No explanation given. The waitress dropped a plate of food on to the table and it just missed hitting my friend's jumper. There was a distinct lack of a sincere apology. The waitress was heavy handed, banging things down on to the table. She never asked if we had enjoyed the meal or offered the sweet menu. My food was nice. My friend had chicken pieces that were not as described. With chilli does not mean unseeded chilli's and chilli sauce all over the chicken pieces. They were far hotter than indicated on the menu. For me, there were too many children, too much noise and too many sports screens. We waited a long time for our food. They were busy, but we had booked the table so they knew how many people were dining with them. Disappointed really.

Overall very enjoyable, the food was excellent, very busy, so slightly longer wait than we would have liked once ordered, but to be expected a busy times. Noisy but nice atmosphere.
