Join us for our California take on our beloved afternoon tea. Our menu features traditional sandwiches sitting alongside seasonal specialties, a divine array of handcrafted pastries, and pairs classic scones with jam from L.A. favorite Sqirl. The centerpiece will be a curated selection of loose-leaf teas from around the globe with Laurent-Perrier champagne as a final flourish. Afternoon Tea is served Saturdays and Sundays from 2-4pm.

The food was perfect. The Terrace is very nice. Just a little thing that was irritating: It was Mother's Day and I just booked the breakfast bc I did not reallly like the menu on the fixed price menu. I specifically booked the outside and this was confirmed by the person who had called me. We were switched to the inside. They said it was Mother's Day and I was booked for the inside only. OK they were busy. However we were seated and it was a table for 4 only not 5 like we were. They added another chair. They said they were fully booked outside but the entire time we were there for 1.5 hours, there was an outside table for 5 that was open. That just annoyed me. But it was Mother's Day and I just loved being there with my girls. Best pancakes I have tasted, so fluffy and light. Eggs benedict was a perfect poached egg too! Add avacado on the side bc it is a nice addition.

Someone in the kitchen was a bit off today. Both French press and cappuccino coffees tasted burnt and bitter. Very unusual. Have never had that before ( were regulars). Also the chicken sausage was dry and just off. But, the service was, as always, impeccable, reception so friendly and fun to talk to, the location is unbeatable, and all other dishes, especially pancakes, were perfect.

Gorgeous evening to sit outdoors and the terrace was the perfect spot to enjoy our dinner. There was a lot going on around the hotel but the terrace was peaceful. The scallop appetizer and the cod and were both delicious. My husband enjoyed the burrata appetizer and bolognese pasta. Will definitely plan to return when we are back in town.

Was way overchaged after realizing the notification from the bank. 1. 20% service fee for 6+ people, but only 2 attended. 2. tax was added after the 20%. 3. If the 20% is the mandatory gratitude, they provided an adjustment space, which we adjusted but ignored. 4. Not even ignored, but still charged even more after 20% of the gratitude. 5. By doing math, they charged a total of 38.12% without notifying.

The location is very nice and vibrant on ground floor of maybourne hotel so it’s great especially on a beautiful saying that it can get noisey because it’s a terrace. The food was great and the service was even better overall we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. We had their octopus, little gem salad, the chicken and the highlight was definitely the veal Milanese!

very beautiful and pleasent spot to have /breakfast/lunch or dinner. Friendy hostess and serveice was great. pasta was well made and yummy however the chicken on the ceaser salad was thick, dry and so white' thats why we didnt eat it, grilled and a little wormer and thiner pieces will be more delicious.

Where do I start? The lamb chops were pretty mediocre the homeless person from the park that came up by me and surprise me panhandling for money and me just about to turn over the table and there were so few people working there that once we got our food order we couldn’t find anyone for 15 minutes to pay our bill.

Service could be better. I had a toddler at brunch but waited over 15mins for the right menu and over 15 mins to be notice for the check. Disappointed

We enjoyed a beautiful evening on the patio with delicious, well prepared dinners options. The waiter couldn’t have been nicer and accommodating. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

2 of the 4 sandwiches were terrible taste-wise. Tea service was poor - server did not offer to refill our teapots even though they were visibly low. Otherwise, the scones and desserts were wonderful.

The brunch was mediocre . Overpriced omelet was dry no flavor , came with a piece of bread , no garnish , nothing on the side . French toast presentation all cut up. They gave us champagne and a piece of cake for free to celebrate but the food we ordered was mediocre .

If you’re having dinner, reaffirm their last call policy. We were served a cocktail upon arrival with our appetizers. However, in the middle of main course we could not have even a glass of wine. So just be aware of their “last call” which I was under assumption is only in lounges or bars but not at a fine restaurant.

There was a MAJOR issue getting my party seated … minimal communication and no urgency led to us being sat 30-minutes after our reservation time. Fortunately,it was worth the wait. Once sat, the service was terrific and the food was delicious (the salmon was fantastic) Also, it is a beautiful property.

Such a lovely establishment! It exudes a quiet, upscale ambiance that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our server was incredibly pleasant, adding to our positive experience. This marks our second visit, and we're already looking forward to returning again.

There was never a waiter in sight. We had to flag down a waiter any time we needed anything and they acted like it was a burden. No one even came to check on us once after we got our food. My poached eggs were rock hard in the center and inedible. I told them and they didn’t even care or take it off the bill. I had to put salt and pepper all over my eggs Benedict and potatoes because NOTHING was seasoned at all. My husbands smoke salmon was average at best. Very unhappy. They also knew we were coming for my husbands 40th birthday and did absolutely nothing to make it special.

The food was terrible. Burnt lamb & broccolini, how on earth do you burn broccolini?? We also got the miso cod which was OK, the sauce was a bit watered down. The octopus and crab cake were decent but nothing to write home about. Our server was exceptional though, he was the best part of the meal- courteous & thoughtful. The ambiance was also nice but this place needs a new chef. The food isn't worth the amount of money you pay for it.
