The Tavern Underground, the lower level of The Carlin, introduces a tastefully designed, modern-meets-casual take on classic American tavern culture.

We offer limited reservation availability up to 8pm, along with bar seating and tables that are always available first come, first serve. If you're not finding a reservation or have a special request, please call us for assistance, 970-771-3795.

Our sever was Dominiqiue. She was outstanding, she greeted us the moment we stepped into the Tavern. Made some great suggestions for drinks and food and checked on us about the drinks a meal. Having good waitstaff in the mountains can be very difficult and there are many good restaurants and bars in Breckenridge but non of those other locations hem have the atmosphere, food, and service that compares with the Tavern.

The service was warm and welcoming, with a speakeasy vibe in the ambiance. The food and drinks were delicious, with amazing presentation.

Our waiter was great and the drinks were great. The food was mediocre at best. Our group had several apps and a variety of main course options. They were just ok. Go for a fun time and good cocktails but skip the food.

Family of 10…restaurant is very cool atmosphere, however some of the people at the bar (which was very close proximity) got loud and you couldn’t have a conversation. Food was great! Service was ok. The servers were extremely polite and helpful, but seemed overwhelmed with customer. I would recommend, but be patient…cocktails were great too!!!

Great if not superb service by Michael Also very nice recognition by the restaurant within the Open Table network for an earlier challenge at a partner restaurant. Food was good as well

Excellent service. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Craft cocktails were fabulous. One of the best burgers in town!
