We booked online through operable but when we arrived the restaurant was closed. Seems th restaurant is no longer operating. So why did open table allow us to book. Not great…

Wasnt open! I think something must have happened - I got there and a sign on the door said they had moved for the weekend 5 mins away. Got there and it said they were closed. Hopefully this is a temporary thing as the menu and concept looks great. Shame as it was mothers day. I visit Broadstairs frequently to visit my parents and its great to see so many places opening and more variety coming in. Hopefully a more informed review will follow in the near future

A group of four of us booked this restaurant 6 weeks in advance, two had to travel a fair distance to get here. As our booking approached we were emailed that the venue had temporally changed premises and was now at the Pickled Herring, which was fine as it was only a 5-6 minute walk away. Finally the day approached and we were all very much looking forward to the meal. We arrived at the Pickled Herring to see that 'The Table' had plastered their name all over the window and were very excited however, no one was in there, we were 5 minutes early so waited patiently, but then another group of 4 arrived who had arrived at the Tables original venue, saw the sign on the window stating the venue had changed to 'The Pickled Herring' but unfortunately no one was there either! We all waited until 10 minutes after our seating time, all the while checking text's and social media. Then I checked emails and saw a very long, convoluted email cancelling our reservation which came in 2.5hrs before our seating time, we alerted the other group to this, they checked their email and found the same email. We understand that things happen, but we were all very disappointed that The Table could not have taken a few minutes to call or text to cancel as who checks emails? At least that way we could have made alternative arrangements, it would have been too late to cancel the travel arrangements but at least we could have tried to book somewhere else. When I emailed 'The Table' back the next day, to convey our disappointment they didn't even bother to respond!

Really enjoyed the friendly, bustling atmosphere and thoughtful, punchy food. Bang bang cauliflower was a highlight. Pork belly was wonderfully soft. Saucing was exceptional. Would recommend ordering to have something to mop up with. Will go again as a treat.

Only 24 covers so quite confined. Great staff really helpful. Excellent food comes constantly through meal. Very limited wine options.

Very relaxed evening with great food. The tables are intimate so it was nice to make friends with the couple sitting next to us. We ended up sharing food and drink ! The food is very tasty and arrives at the table over a period of time which suited this style of food. Overall we really enjoyed the evening, thank you.

Based on the menu listed on the website, I was expecting a more extensive menu. Half of the items listed on the website were not available in the evening, which had not been clear when booking. As I do not eat meat, I rely on the menu online to check there are plenty of choices. No one explained the fact that the plates are very small portions and you need to order a at least 4-5 between two people. I had not expected that at a price of £16 we would be served a plate with two king prawns on some pesto. It was very difficult to have a conversation as the music was so loud and as a result other guests in large groups were shouting over the top of the music to make themselves heard. The food that we did get was nice but, in my opinion, did not justify the price. It was shame as I had a friend visiting and we left hungry and somewhat frazzled by the experience.

Love The Table. Delicious food every time, last night was no exception. The bang bang cauliflower is the stand out for me. Great staff and service too.

Food was fantastic. Bang bang Cauliflower and Tataki beef were favourites. Beef tender and cooked to perfection. Sauce with the Cauliflower bursting with flavour. Staff were helpful with the menu and really friendly. The place has a very intimate feel and isn't too big which we enjoyed. But still had a buzz to it. Would definitely recommend.

A wonderful discovery: The Table is a little jewel of a restaurant! Just in the center of Broadstairs, it offers outstanding, creative dishes, wonderful and welcoming service and a very nice, informal atmosphere. Definitely, an experience to be repeated soon!

The high top table for was very, very small and the stools uncomfortable - the ones at the bar looked more comfy. The food was good but way over-seasoned. Lovely waiting staff and service, great ambiance and good to see the cooking. Lovely wine.

Ramen bowls are delicious, broth especially rich, order a plate or two alongside if you have a bigger appetite. Tofu has never takes better. Had food envy looking at other diners dishes… will be back for more soon 😊

Food was very delicious, would definitely eat here again. Cutlery was not polished and wine glasses had water marks but both waiters were very friendly. Limited selection of drinks but the wine we had was very nice.

We had an enjoyable meal although the tables were very crowded as it is such a small restaurant. Unfortunately, the wine list is extremely limited. The staff were very good and attentive.

I was disappointed, to be honest--I had been a few years ago and it was really terrific, but this time the menu did not match what was online (no bao buns for example), the miso and seaweed flatbread (a signature dish, and the only bread on a menu full of sauces) was off. The owner/chef was on holiday. The amazing cooked sauces I remembered from my first visit seemed to have given way to small cold dipping sauces. Only the cauliflower dish had any of the punch of the previous menu I remembered (and we tried all of the plates, just about). Maybe just an off day. so I will probably give it another try, but I felt it was just going through the motions slightly

FANTASTIC LITTLE RESTAURANT...... This is our 3rd visit to the Table, and as always, is exemplary in all areas.......food, service, and ambience . How this little venue hasn't been awarded a michelin star is beyond belief. The food is just "Wow" !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe not for everyone , as it is not your "average" food venue, being quite eclectic, & inventive with the food on offer. However, if you like to taste food on another level, this will be the place for you. Gracie & Oscar looked after us (party of 3) to ensure that our visit was memorable, of which there was no doubt.Like all the other reviews state.....The whole team work so hard to provide their customers with an exceptional Dining Experience.............Don't miss out !!!!!!!
