Prices are high. $86 for a ribeye. Food was good and service was excellent. You are paying for the view which is stunning.

For the price of the food I expected an amazing taste. The fish was over cooked and the food was salty. I don’t mind paying the amount but please redo the menu and train the chefs better.

First of all I’d say the view is the obvious reason behind booking Yet, Our family of 4 dined on everything from the lamb, Snapper & two Delmonico’s Upon leaving our review was the taste and quality of the meal was amongst the best we’ve ever tasted & experienced.

The view was absolutely amazing and the service was excellent. The food however was disappointing. Bland and not flavorful at all.

We had a good variety of dinner choices. I had the steak. My husband had the grouper. Delicious! Our waiter, Cory, was excellent. He was so nice and personable! I can’t say enough great stuff. Excellent service!

Staff were friendly, atmosphere was nice, we had a table by the window with a view of downtown. Service was good and our waiter was nice and attentive. We were disappointed by the food and drinks. For the cost we expected a lot better. Food was simple just okay. The drinks were definitely not made by an experienced bartender. Overall it was just okay. The restaurant itself was neat but overall our experience was just okay. Personally we likely would not come back because of food and drink quality.

My wife and I took our 2 daughters and my wife’s friend to dinner tonight at the Sun Dial. We hadn’t been to the Sun Dial in at least 5 years and were looking forward to our reservation. First, our friend is handicapped and has extreme difficulty walking. She must be transported via wheelchair in most environments, which makes having a restaurant capable of supporting her needs a requirement. In this capacity the Sun Dial failed miserably. We had great difficulty simply getting to our seat. After 20 minutes from checking in we were finally made aware that the elevator required for her transport was not working. We were determined to have a fine meal, so we helped her walk down the stairs and then on to the wheelchair to our seats. After this she needed to use the restroom. This was also a very manual task that required the manager to approve her to use the kitchen elevator to go to the second floor to use the restroom. That process took so long that by the time she got back to the table, her food had cooled down greatly. Second, we found the hosts’ customer service to be nonchalant at best. There was a general apathy and complete lack of hustle to help us get to our seats; especially considering we needed assistance. They also poorly communicated the issues with us and could not find a ready solution. For a restaurant of this caliber, I expected 5-star service, and we got the 2-star service I would expect from a Waffle House. The shining light was our server Jeff, who was simply fantastic and did a great job serving our table. Third, the food was mediocre. I have eaten at the Sun Dial for many years, though not since COVID, and the food was just “ok”. Considering my bill was just under $500.00 for 2 young children and 3 adults I would’ve expected the food to be amazing. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but was cooked medium. The taste
