We are THRILLED to have reinvented our dining services at The StoneHouse with head chef Garrett Dakan who has developed a diverse menu likely to satiate any palate. We are inspired by our community and have worked to create a food menu to bring people together. We have a variety of small dishes that are great to share with friends and family. We understand the importance of sustainable food systems and bring you sustainably sourced seafood as well as grass fed beef and organic chicken. Enjoy wagyu beef and lamb meatballs, house made pasta, grilled prawns and much more.

              One simply cannot do better in Nevada City! Or probably in a 60 mile radius. The ambience is as advertised — in an ancient (by California standards) stone building dating back to the gold rush. The food is SF quality. My partner and I each had an appetizer and shared a main. Our companions shared an appetizer and each had a main. We split two desserts. The wine list is more than acceptable. Our server was attentive and delightful. What’s not to like?

              Aaron was great however the food was long in coming thought the arugula salad was less than exciting my companion said the lasagna was good but not what he is use to ‘different’ my wife said the meat was cooked more than medium

              Great drinks and wine selection. Apps and small fish was great. Main selection was lacking seasoning and had some odd flavors. Wait or was great. Overall a good experience.

              The Stonehouse was great! I think our only complaint was our friend had to wait a long time for her coffee, but that is just not a big deal! Everything was absolutely amazing! The food , drinks and ambiance And our server was great!

              The restaurant was amazing, along with service and meal! I ordered the Scallops Entree and have to say that I have NEVER had Scallops sooo good...they melted in my mouth!!

              Once again, a wonderful evening at the Stonehouse! The good was delicious and artistically presented. Two of us ordered the fried chicken. Another member of our party ordered the lamb and the forth member of our party the pasta. All was delicious! Stonehouse—please hurry and fix your parking lot!
