The Statler is an American Bistro and Cocktail Bar nestled into the heart of Downtown Detroit's Entertainment District. The Statler offers classic cuisine with a slightly modern twist, catering to both adventurous and traditional diners alike. Our menu was created by Certified Master Chef Daniel Scannell, modeling a French Bistro. The Statler delivers a world class Gastro and Mixology Bar and Formal Dining Room Experiences. Enjoy a Smoked Old Fashioned with Suntory Japanese Whiskey and Crispy Calamari, and Friends during Happy Hour, then a Bottle of Faust Cabernet Sauvignon with Braised Short Ribs and Family in our Dining Room. The Statler is within walking distance from venues like Comerica Park, Ford Field, Detroit Opera House, Fox Theatre, Little Caesar’s Arena, and more.

    The service was great. Did not find the food to be anything out of the ordinary. Was a bit pricey for what you order specially beverages. A 12$ French press served 1.5 cups. 🙄

    Katrina was a wonderful server. The food, as usual, was excellent. The Statler is one of our favorite Detroit restaurants, especially for special occasions. This time it was for Mother's Day.

    Ordered the lobster Benedict and there was barely any lobster. The English muffin was so large it was basically bread with a small egg on top and 3 small pieces of lobster, if that. Not worth $32. Server was really great and attentive. Atmosphere was nice! Very French bistro!

    The venue and food were excellent. I thought the primary wait staff could have been more attentive and visited our table more often. Outside of that, I highly recommend the restaurant.

    The food was excellent. The homemade rolls were crisp on the outside with a heavy dough inside. Delicious. I ordered the sauteed sole with Beurre blanc sauce accompanied by haricots vert (GREEN BEANS) and sauteed potatoes---all delicious. The service was very good with several people checking on us to see if everything was OK. It appears that service is as important as the food and that is greatly appreciated.

    It was our first time at the Statler and we really enjoyed coming. We don't come to Detroit very often but I chose the Statler for the reviews and it's menu. We just returned from a trip to France this past year and I wanted to relived it just a little for Mother Day. I was a little disappointed in the escargot but every else was fabulous.

    Had the tasting menu, and it was definitely worth it. Also, call before you go about their parking validation! I’ll definitely be returning.

    The service was impeccable. The dishes I ordered were plentiful and flavorful. The decor of the restaurant is very reminiscent of of a Parisian bistro. I would highly recommend the Statler for a memorable culinary experience.
