    I LOVED the old Snake Bite! I moved to Boise 3 years ago and have craved it ever since I left Idaho Falls. So on a recent trip I was really looking forward to going to the new location. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a let down. It’s so big and the layout is more like any other chain restaurant and it has lost its neighborhood restaurant atmosphere. The menu was mostly the same so I ordered old favorites- the house salad with salmon and the waffle fries with fry sauce. I’d been thinking about that fry sauce for 3 years! The salad was essentially the same, but over dressed. The fries lacked the spice they used to have and the fry sauce was thin and much less flavorful. Overall my experience was a let down. Such a shame.

    The food was amazingly good. The menu had a variety of different items. Everything we tried tasted fresh and tasty. Our waitress Summer was nice and attentive. She recommended things to do and see in the area. Would definitely recommend this place. Great local restaurant

    We love the snakebite. They have a varied menu that’s filled with good if not great food. My only complaint would be the tables closest to the door and the cool draft that comes in when it’s opened. Otherwise a great place to sit and enjoy a great meal with friends.

    Sat beside the door, very cold and busy. Service was a bit slow, possibly short staffed as part of the restaraunt was closed

    Great service! Loved the vibe, and my food was amazing. Best burger I have had, and the baked Brie is a must have appetizer!

    Unfortunately I had to eat with my coat on due to being by the door ! Other wise experience was good !
