The Simpson complements Brooklyn’s new restaurant age from Williamsburg to Prospect Park, by offering a seafood friendly Caribbean/Soul Food cuisine and an inspired Classic Cocktail menu infused with the nuances and flavors of the Afro Diaspora’s spice market. The Simpson will embody the soulful vibes and beats of the borough, while capturing the exuberance of the New Brooklyn Renaissance through Art, Music, Mixology and Cuisine. The service will be reminiscent of wherever you call home, as Chef’s “Cooking with Love” menu will be completed with with an array of delectable pastries and desserts, yummy mock tails for the non-drinker, and creative elixirs for the adventurous. Menu highlights include Hennessy Fried Shrimp, Bourbon Bbq, 5 Cheese Macaroni Pie, and Wings.

    I went to The Simpson to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed everything. The jerk chicken cheese fries and jerk chicken wings were outstanding as an appetizer. My son, husband and I all had a Bahama Mama and it was very good. My son said The Mac and cheese with oxtails was the best oxtails he’s ever had. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Walkerwood jerk chicken, veggies and rice and peas. I had jerk shrimp which was also amazing. If you like spicy this is the place.

    The food was hands down fantastic. The flavors and presentation of the food ... the best. I was so satisfied. The drinks were just ok for me. Maybe it was just an off day, but I wasn't satisfied with the drinks at all. The staff was very courteous and professional, especially the young lady hostess at the front desk/door. The ambiance was good. I will definitely patronize The Simpson again. It is on the pricey said for anyone who needs to know. $$$$$

    The ambiance is always great along with the food. Our Server, Kennally needs a little polish on his customer interaction. He was rude just a little intense when trying to explaining the good options. Lack personality.

    I absolutely love this restaurant. I love all the wind queens and I’ll come here all the way to Brooklyn. If it means that I’ll be spending some time at Simpsons. The ambient is amazing. The food is amazing and the servers are amazing. Jamaican authentic food dynamic.

    Had a 3:30 reservation. I arrived on time. Got seated 10 mins later. Waited till 4: 30 and proceeded to find out why we have not yet been attended to. 12 minutes later two waitresses comes to the table takes the order and apologies for wait time. 5 mins received water at the tables. 7mins later received drinks. Food came a little after . I have been to this restaurant many times and loved everything about. Was my husband's birthday and first time. Did not leave a good first time impression for him. However the waitress made sure we were happy and satisfied through our time and got a free desert for the birthday guest on the house. I told him we would go again cause love every else. Advise if workers are transitioning at this time let not the guest know or feel it. Which is what happened the shift came in late but we should have been at least giving attention rather than just being ignored for such a long period. My family was not happy.

    I had left one restaurant to come here to dine for my bday and I’m glad I did. The restaurant is very nice, the manager was super awesome and food amazing. Will definitely return. Made my day feel special.

    The restaurant is self OK very clean be honest with 100 but the waiter was very relaxed. kept bringing us wrong food over distant. I give him one.
