The Simpson complements Brooklyn’s new restaurant age from Williamsburg to Prospect Park, by offering a seafood friendly Caribbean/Soul Food cuisine and an inspired Classic Cocktail menu infused with the nuances and flavors of the Afro Diaspora’s spice market. The Simpson will embody the soulful vibes and beats of the borough, while capturing the exuberance of the New Brooklyn Renaissance through Art, Music, Mixology and Cuisine. The service will be reminiscent of wherever you call home, as Chef’s “Cooking with Love” menu will be completed with with an array of delectable pastries and desserts, yummy mock tails for the non-drinker, and creative elixirs for the adventurous. Menu highlights include Hennessy Fried Shrimp, Bourbon Bbq, 5 Cheese Macaroni Pie, and Wings.

    My initial encounter on 6/11/2024 was terrible but one amazing employee Mr Kamaley, the most kind, empathetic, fun-loving, free spirit and entertaining man, saved my son’s Graduation celebration. All on his own he serviced my 14 guest at 3 separate tables while working the main bar all by himself. His efficiency and grace under pressure needs to be duplicated by that entire establishment. And his efforts highly celebrated. Due to the inconvenience the manger who was unaware of the reservation issues did give us a very good discount. In the end my family had an amazing day. It turned out better than expected.

    I had the St. Louis Bourbon BBQ Ribs and they were so tender they just melted in your mouth and the coleslaw was very tasty. I enjoyed my entire meal and service was very friendly. I have eaten at Simpsons many times and have always enjoyed my meal and the service.

    I had a reservation to celebrate my friend birthday. The waitress seemed overwhelmed. I had to ask for water when I was though with my meal. My Mac and cheese with oxtails was extremely salty and the birthday girl fish was too peppery. I think it was a off day for the restaurant.

    I went to The Simpson to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed everything. The jerk chicken cheese fries and jerk chicken wings were outstanding as an appetizer. My son, husband and I all had a Bahama Mama and it was very good. My son said The Mac and cheese with oxtails was the best oxtails he’s ever had. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Walkerwood jerk chicken, veggies and rice and peas. I had jerk shrimp which was also amazing. If you like spicy this is the place.

    The food was hands down fantastic. The flavors and presentation of the food ... the best. I was so satisfied. The drinks were just ok for me. Maybe it was just an off day, but I wasn't satisfied with the drinks at all. The staff was very courteous and professional, especially the young lady hostess at the front desk/door. The ambiance was good. I will definitely patronize The Simpson again. It is on the pricey said for anyone who needs to know. $$$$$

    The ambiance is always great along with the food. Our Server, Kennally needs a little polish on his customer interaction. He was rude just a little intense when trying to explaining the good options. Lack personality.
