What a wonderful find. It is a diamond in the rough not far from capital mall more importantly the food is worth it. The setting is beautiful. Don’t judge a book by its cover as the interior is lovely service is great. Food is just as good and the chef did a wonderful job. The waitress was perfect and the proper balance of attention.

Overall, okay experience. Great food and drinks! My party of 4 waited after being seated for about 15 minutes for someone to come to our table. It was a slow night, and our server walked by our table multiple times before approaching us. We ordered a few drinks, and appetizers, all of which were wonderful! They were all originally given to all the wrong people, by the same server who took the order. Not a big deal, but for the price of everything, the lack of service/attention to detail was surprising. Will be back again, as the drinks and food were great.

We’ve visited 7th Street many times with different groups of friends before Kings game. Always great service and food.

We had a good breakfast yesterday morning. Food was delicious! My wife enjoyed the French toast and I the scrambled eggs with bacon, potatoes, and toast. I love that they griddle their toast, it’s a nice touch. Service was attentive and friendly. Ambiance was pleasant with a window table.

I have been here 5-6 times for dinner before the Kings games and they have not disappointed yet. I have not had one person say they were unsatisfied with their meal. I have tried several and they were all delicious. The only negative I can think of is the fragrance they have in the restaurant. It is like a strong perfume but you get used to it after sitting there for a minute.

Last two times I've been here have been disappointing. I made a reservation for brunch and I still had to wait 30 mins as they had not reserved my table and they were busy. The food was ok. The last time I came before this one, we ended up leaving before we even ordered as they had run out of a lot of items and they were not busy at all, it was kind of empty that day, so we left to Mortons for a better dining experience. I dont think I will come back again.

I felt rushed. It was hard hard to have a conversation with my friends because of the music in the background. The bacon and egg breakfast was absolutely nothing special. I was offered a choice of two different breads, white or wheat. The dishes were not cleared off the table in a timely manner.I don’t believe I will ever suggest again to friends that we join there for a meal.

Set menu for Valentines Day. $120 per person without wine pairing. Food was mediocre at best. Trio bites sparse and not memorable. First course mushroom soup was very good. Beet salad had semi wilted heart of romaine lettuce and dressing so-so. Main course of short ribs was chewy and over cooked. Halibut was dry and the size of large beetle. Dessert -chocolate cheesecake and olive oil cake was good but not Wow . Overall food experience was disappointing for spending $ 240 and really hoping for a fine dining experience. Blah

The restaurant is beautiful and conveniently located but the food was just ok and it was very expensive for what you got. I ordered the bucatini pasta which was $37 for basically a bowl of spaghetti with 5 little chunks of short rib in it.

We enjoyed our dinner at 7th Street Standard, including meeting Chef Patel. The food was very good, especially the Fusion items, for which we specifically chose to dine at this restaurant. The Service at 7th Street Standard was very good, attentive and kind staff. Definitely Recommend.

Our reservation was immediately accommodated and the service provided was especially helpful and considerate. We dined there right before the Kings game and the restaurant reduced the tab by 20% because we were wearing some Kings attire. What a great start to the evening!

Had a reservation at 5PM prior to the Kings game. It was loud when we arrived, but soon after was more moderate. We were seated quickly and had a drink while looking at the menu. We started with oysters from Washington state. They tasted fresh and were very good. I had Bucatini pasta and wife had halibut. Main courses were served hot and well seasoned. Definitely good portions. Very enjoyable meal and right around corner from the Golden 1.

The food was outstanding. The cocktail list looked amazing so we will definitely be back. Lovely atmosphere as well. The valet service could use some improvement. It was raining, I brought my car up to the curb had to go inside to see if there was valet. The gentleman said yes and then I had to ask where and he directed me elsewhere. Efficient to pick it up and perhaps the valets didn’t realize that the tip was included in the online payment part….

Another great meal here. We had the dine out 3 course dinner and every course was excellent. I wished they would put that particular gnocchi on the menu.

We ate the Dine Downtown menu and it was terrific. Prices seemed high on the menu but $45 for a great three-course menu was fine. Service was excellent. It was not very busy and may have been quite noisy if there had been more customers. We had not been before and were quite satisfied.

We went to the 7th Street standard for the annual Dine downtown event. I knew the food would be good and it did not disappoint. The mushroom bisque was full of flavor. Gnocchi was a little spicy, but not too spicy. But the absolute winner of the night would be the sticky toffee pudding dessert. I’ve had it at Gordon Ramsay‘s restaurant and this was better. I’m ready to return to 7th Street standard to try the pork chop vindaloo. Also shout out to our server.

On initial arrival I thought it was more bar looking than fine dining restaurant. The prefix dine downtown menu was delicious and beat my expectations!

We booked this restaurant for NYE specifically because they did NOT advertise a pre set menu or a pre set price per person. When we got there , we were presented with a pre selected menu and a price of $125 per person (not including drinks , taxes or gratuity) this was definitely disappointing. We were able to move to the bar and order items a la carte but it was still from the pre selected menu. This was difficult for us because we have both have allergies and diet restrictions. I ordered the halibut ($40) and when it came out it was the size of a tiny chicken nugget. At this point I was starving and I knew this wasn’t going to fill me up so I just politely sent it back. The manager was kind of enough to apologize and compensate by sending me a bigger portion size. I was appreciative of this. It wasn’t the best experience but I did appreciate the manager compensating for the disappointment. I definitely think it should be advertised if there’s a pre selected menu and pre set price. But I may be open to trying this spot again on a normal night.

Spreads appetizer, old fashion cocktail, chicken and dumplings, and pork chop vindaloo all excellent as well as the service. Highly recommend. Very loud though. Probably just the extremely loud group behind us.

Picked this place based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious food - definitely will return. Best chicken sandwich ever. Family loved the Eggs Benedict and the biscuits and gravy. Our server Aaron was terrific. Kept water refilled, and refilled my Arnold Palmer before I could even ask. Lovely setting.

We enjoyed our meal and time at the restaurant. The food was superb as was the service. A bit disappointed the pasta was out, but we understood. Thank you making our Christmas Day dinner memorable.

The food left a lot to be desired for the price. Over salted salmon. The prime rib was rare and way to lean. The service and atmosphere were great but can’t make up for the kitchen.

i ate here and remembered why i love real food. the 7th street standard displayed an earnest effort towards truly great dining, and hit the mark! nourishing for the the body as well as the eyes- what a simply beautiful and fundamentally charming young restaurant. the decor was tangible and conducive to conversation. the food brought out the best in me. incredible performance on christmas morning to all of the restaurant staff, and don't forget the chefs in the back!!
