Whether you're after an intimate private dining room, or the whole Schoolhouse restaurant, we have plenty of options. Spaces include: The Lobby is a small and intimate private dining room for up to 8 guests. The Bank Room is a large private dining room for up to 18 guests. Service was poor, waited 20 mins after being seated for wait staff to approach our table for drinks order, then waited an hour for food and then when it was served some was missing. Very disappointing after all the good things we’d heard about it.

Food and our waiter were excellent. Only downside was our reception which got the evening off to a bad start. There was some kind of hold up causing a queue of about 8 to be waiting to be seated. A couple even waiting in the rain as the reception area is small. When finally "greeted" it was with a terse "who's next". No apology for the wait, it was like we were in a two dollar shop. Frankly if it had not been a Saturday night we could easily have turned around and gone elsewhere. A shame as the food is very good, as was our waiter.

Fabulous restaurant in the centre of town, great atmosphere and surprisingly busy for a Sunday evening in Autumn. Big wine list, mostly supporting local producers which is so good to see. I am still dreaming of the steak.

We had a wonderful lunch ( probably order one too many dishes 😊😊 ) Everyone was so helpful Thank you for the birthday cake for our daughter a lovely surprise , it is these little extras that make the experience so special We will be back & recommend to friends ( we from Forbes ) Thank you

Another great visit to local legends Union Bank - great food, wine - and above all amazing service. So much food (we had the Feed Me menu), and matching wines - and it was all tasty, rich etc... Will be back...

The Union Bank building is absolutely charming, inside and out; its ambience is amazing. We shared three snacks and a small plate and they were absolutely delicious. The only thing that put a downer on our evening was that our hostess was competent but not helpful and lacked warmth. We noticed the other hostess’s were extremely friendly and helpful including the hostess who farewelled us.

Beautiful food, was hesitant at first with share plates however the timing of the selection was great and really enjoyed the experience
