Terrible food and wait staff was very uneducated on menu. They were out of pepperonis for their “pepperoni pizza” and didn’t have soy paper for sushi. Lobster appetizer was basically mayo and the tuna appetizer was very fishy…..tasted terrible. Chicken tasted as if it had been soaked in salt water for days.

This is the place to go if you would like an elegant restaurant setting. This is the place to go if you prefer fine dining! The food for ever so fresh. The filet mignon was so delicious, it melted in my mouth.

Sam our waiter was amazing. Appetizer was great (Shrimp with spicy honey)). Drinks were great, Steak good, Mac n cheese amazing. Prime rib dry and an jus was cold. Service made up for the prime rib, again, Sam was awesome!!!

I made dinner reservations but was sat at a high top table at the bar. When asked if there was a proper table available we were immediately told yes. We were then moved to a booth which was perfect. I just don’t understand why we would be initially sat at the bar and only moved to a booth after requesting one. I understand that Saturday nights are busy downtown which is why, as a local, I made a reservation. This tainted the experience

I ordered the filet mignon. I don't know what type of meat they brought out, but it definitely was not a filet, and it was not seasoned at all. It was a round piece of meat that had a pot roast texture. They cooked it and put buttwe on top. The drink were not good at all, and the secret one was closed until the summer because they didn't have enough staff. It was also my birthday. I specified that on my reservation, and they said nor did nothing. I would not go back.

Overall would absolutely recommend. Service was incredibly good. Steve was awesome. Food was mostly a hit, although the bone in steak a little too thin for the price. A little too expensive, and I did not like that they automallu added gratuity with a 3% credit card charge (not cool at all high end restaurant)

Everything was outstanding but for my cocktail. While it tasted fine, the price was absurd. I ordered an Angel’s Envy “Old Fashion”. I drink Angel’s Envy. It’s an above average to good whiskey. It costs about $65 a bottle. So I was a wee bit miffed when I got 1 1/2 ounce cocktail for $26.00. You get 16 drinks of similar size from a fifth or about $416 per fifth at that price. Excellent food, service and ambiance. I will return and recommend the restaurant but buyer beware,

A great experience from start to finish! Loved everything about our waiter Steve from his demeanor to his education about restaurant history and his recommendations. Top quality service experience. Food also was absolutely fantastic. The lobster Mac and cheese was the best I’ve had. The apple cobbler was superb. The tuna crisps and the lobster bites were also phenomenal.

Last night was our first time visiting The Rutledge but it surely won’t be our last! It was in the perfect location, well lit, not crowded or loud, and seems to be the perfect place for all groups, families, couples, friends, etc. I highly recommend the starter steak rolls. I also highly recommend requesting Steve as your server! He truly treated us like family. Told us so much about the menu, about the area, and happily took our pictures every time we asked. So thankful for his service and our overall experience here.

Our waiter was nice but honestly the food was terrible. The salmon in the Alaska roll was old, smelled and inedible. The salami on the Spicy Sicilian also smelled terrible. My 12 yo’s burger was fine, as was the truffle fries and my glass of wine. But gosh did we strike out choosing this restaurant. Feel bad for our waiter who was so nice…place was dead too, but the receptionist said it was full when I called. I got a resy through Open Table but had to enter my cc which is why we were forced to stay. I honestly haven’t ever eaten in such a bad place that calls itself upscale…terrible. They need seriously quality control their food.

The food was not at all exceptional for the price. The steak was not as we ordered and was bland, the house salad was boring and the sides were unimaginable. We went to the speakeasy upstairs and it was too modern for my classic definition of that period-style establishment.

Great food, and even better service! Our server, Steve, did a fantastic job of taking care of us. He really knew his stuff, the food suggestions he made for us were spot on!
