It’s sad. The Mansion restaurant has been a Dallas institution for so long. The last couple times we’ve been, the food has been average or poor. Today it was really poor. The place needs a renovation. They allow people to dine in workout clothes and baseball hats. It used to be so nice. I travel the world and stay in Rosewoods often - this place no longer meets the Rosewood standard. The company needs to intervene.

We have eaten here before and had much better meals. Something was off last night, food was not as good as usual could be because they were having a wedding at the hotel overall disappointed in the experience, but I've had good experiences there before

Food was great and so was the service. We had the 7 course dinner so we had no decisions to make. Every course was a work of art and absolutely delicious. I recommend very highly!!

Food was good, but nothing particularly amazing. Our server was very attentive and good but the other employees were trying to rush us through our meal and constantly trying to clear the table despite us telling them multiple times that we weren’t finished.

Me and my family had brunch here on a Saturday. We sat at a lovely table with a booth as comfy as a couch. I highly recommend the buttermilk pancakes and the churros were delightful as an appetizer for 4 or less people even though it is on the dessert menu! The Mansion is absolutely stunning and I highly recommend coming here to have a great dining experience

Was a birthday dinner. Not impressed. Food was ok, waiter was a bit cool rather than warm and inviting. I have had much better food.

The Mansion has an excellent reputation. Our experience started off poorly. After standing unassisted at the hostess stand for a number of minutes, I sought out assistance. I was greeted by a gentleman, who noted he would assist in a few more minutes. I should note that we arrived a few minutes early for our lunch reservations. Finally, we were seated in a great location. Service was crisp. The halibut special was well-prepared. The Chicken schnitzel was excellent! Our wine was perfect. Entrees came with nothing else. It was interesting that the menu selections varied greatly from the on-line menu. When you spend almost $400 for lunch for four, I would expect to leave satiated.

Nice ambiance in the restaurant, food was just okay and service was a little slow. The water and bread service was great however our main server was not as attentive as he should have been. A little disappointed.

Barbara our server was so attentive to our needs. She was very professional. Food was amazing . We were celebrating a friend's birthday and the entire service staff made her feel special. Cheers to the Chef and team behind the scene. Blessings and JOY to all.

We booked thru the.mansion webpage for the Easter brunch and brought us to OpenTable, selected 10am and yesterday they let us know that brunch didn’t start until 11am. Why did they offer an opening and ability to book at 10 then

A highly memorable treat. Delightful tasting menu with some amazing courses (halibut, pasta, duck). Lots of good service. Extensive wine list. Tasteful pastel decor.

The service was very slow last night. We didn’t get our food for an hour after we sat down. We were almost finished with our bottle of wine by the time our food got to our table. The waitress was very good and apologetic.

i am against superlatives. But here goes. The new chef has no ego. He has brought back the famous Dean Fearing tortilla soup. The crab cakes - maybe 2% bread. They were excellent, as was the tortilla soup. My duck? Just right. My wife’s fish - also right. Desserts - crème brûlée and chocolate sheet cake. Flawless. The chef’s surprise? Small tacos Crème fraiche, asparagus and avocado. Very good. The champagne - flat and immediately corrected. Thank you. The one thing we do not like? Too much noise from the . kitchen area from clanging silverware Chef Charles visited the table. A very humble man. He does the Mansion well. . Thanks.

The food was very mediocre with very small servings I had been going to the Mansion regularly 20 years ago. It was sooo disappointing. It used to be such a glamorous ( excellent food) place to go now all the new restaurants are much better

It is an elegant, comfortable, restaurant with attentive friendly staff. The food quality is always excellent. The expense level is very high, and probably overpriced. But it's an excellent special occasion alternative and a fine dining experience.

Overall the Mansion does not disappoint. We celebrated our 25th anniversary Saturday night. Service and Foor were excellent. Our table was near the entry and there was a lot of noise coming from the bar area but it is to be expected.

Outstanding! Service was impeccable and the food was perfectly executed. We got the 7 course tasting menu and wine pairings. Can’t go wrong with truffles, but the standout dish was the halibut. Loved the sunchoke!
