The Roscommon Room is the coolest experience for Lunch and Dinner at Ocean Edge Resort located behind The Mansion overlooking Cape Cod Bay. Guests and patrons alike are invited to book a table inside the restaurant for traditional a-la-carte dining that will allow you to enjoy wintry cocktails with an assortment of seasonal starters and entrees from lobster poutine to butternut squash risotto. Cozy seating by the fire and inside the bar area are also available.

Excellent service and even better food. We had swordfish and halibut with garlic green beans and mushroom risotto. All some of the best we've had. Server was great.

We were a party of 4. My husband and I shared the calamari which was soggy not crisp. My husband had the duck which had a lovely presentation and he said it was tasty. I order the beef tenderloin. A medium size cut and 1 ponion ring on top. It would have been nice to have the meat sitting on mash or roasted potatoes. Very poor presentation. The bright spot of the evening was the staff. They could not have been more cheerful or efficient. They made our experience very good despite the food.

I took my elderly Mom here for lunch during “Wizard Week” (school vacation week). The small Roscommon Room was crawling with excited and boisterous kids dressed in wizardry costumes a la Harry Potter. I wish I had known this beforehand because I would have chosen a quieter weekend. Oh well. Positives: our entrees - the vegetarian burger with a side salad and the beef short rib grilled cheese with homemade potato chips - were delicious. We sat at the bar which had a nice view of Cape Cod Bay with a light snow falling. The bartender was friendly and attentive. Negatives: The clam chowder, although hot and a very generous portion for a cup, had a strange sour taste to it. We ended up sitting at the bar only because all the tables offered to us were freezing cold with vents under the tables blowing cold air. We asked to sit at the table right next to the beautiful fireplace, and at first were told yes by the waiter. We had just gotten settled there when a manager came and told us we would have to move since it was a table for 4 and was already reserved. She wasn’t very apologetic. If you go in the winter, try to reserve the fireside table in advance! The room was very loud with all those excited kids and their parents. Perhaps when it’s not Wizard Week, the dining experience would be quieter and more relaxing. Value: virtually all Cape Cod restaurants are ridiculously overpriced now. Many used to lower their prices in the winter for the people who live here year round. The Roscommon room did seem a little bit more reasonably priced for food than many places out here. Our lunch (without any liquor) came to $55.00 for 2 cups of chowder and the 2 sandwiches mentioned above. A cup of hot tea was $4.00, which made us laugh. I will probably try The Roscommon Room again, but not on a cold winter day and not during any school vacation week.

We were excited to try our new found and EXTREMELY disappointed. Our waiter obviously didn't wanted to be there and he clearly showed us that she couldn't care or less to serve us. Most nasty service I ever had in Cape Cod restaurants as long as I remember. Our bartender was nice, I may go back for a drink if I'm near by in the future but never to dine for such a bad service and less than mediocre food - the pork shank was tender but ruined by salty Au jus, and my partners chicken was overcooked, dry, and inedible.

Wonderful food, service & atmosphere. Only thing we’d change is the lightning. Way too bright for a small intimate dining room that would be more romantic with softer light. It would also keep the noise level at the bar down if it wasn’t so bright. Other than that it was wonderful for dinner & breakfast!
