First time to the River House in Nashville. Incredibly impressed with all aspects of this restaurant. We arrived a little early and waited at the bar for just a few minutes the bar staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and served excellent drinks. We were seated in a excellent part of the restaurant and felt extremely careful for period everyone from our waiter to the salad girl and hostess were all well trained and do their jobs extremely well. The food was incredible accidentally prepared. We really enjoyed our evening at the River House.

Plate presentation was poor at best but the taste and quality were very good. With a dining experience at this price point I expected more than a piece of fish by itself on a plate

Brought my wife here to celebrate her birthday. We had an amazing time. Our waiter Nick was fantastic and added to the whole experience. Definitely coming back!

It was our first time visiting the River House!! Great ambience and the food was delicious! The waitress was attentive and timely! Everyone was pleased with the entire experience. We will definitely visit again!

Wow, where to begin. My partner and I can’t wait to return. First off our steaks were cooked to perfection. It has been a while since we have had a decent steak. The prices were reasonable and the creamed corn brûlée was delicious. We were right beside the piano and the noise level was tolerable. Wonderful date night!

Valet was polite and quick, hostess greeted us and acknowledged our celebration as well as our server who was tentative, knowledgeable on all menu items. the PDA phenomenal, our food was the highest word to describe savory & delicious we had crab cakes, Shrimp NO, Hemingway (melts in your mouth), asparagus, cream corn, creamy spinach. Wish there was room for dessert.

Been there multiple times. Never had a bad experience. Even though it’s down town it’s quiet inside and very good ambience with the piano playing. Great date night or even impress people you love to be with spot. It’s definitely on our rotation.

We travel to Nashville often, and the River House is always worth a visit. The food is great and priced appropriately. The staff always provides friendly, helpful service that makes our experience wonderful.

We enjoyed The River House more than any other restaurant we visited on our recent trip to Nashville. The service was wonderful, the cocktails and wine selections were great. We went in one afternoon for cocktails only and went back the next night for dinner after seeing the menu and enjoying atmosphere of the restaurant so much. My husband's wagyu filet was just perfection. The potatoes and asparagus were both cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I ordered Rack of Lamb, medium rare and unfortunately it was more like medium well. The re-do was closer to medium and although still overdone, it was good. The restaurant was lively but not loud and the service was fantastic - at the bar and at the table. We will definitely return!

Excellent experience. Tableside Ceasar salad was amazing. Beef Wellington was melt in your mouth. Lamb chops were very good just a little dry but still good as was the halibut. Augratin potatoes was outstanding. Service was really good. Ashley did a great job as our server, as did Gabriella making the tableside ceasar salad.

Absolutely a new favorite for date nights! Food and service was EXCELLENT!!! Will be back again sooooo ! They were inviting and warm from the moment we walked in the front door. We were also late due to traffic and they very kindly held our table without giving attitude like other Nashville restaurants do. Just go!!! Soooo good! ❤️
