As always was everything I expected and more to celebrate mothers day. Big thanks to Alison from events! Dining at the river cafe is always a special night. Food was delicious would recommend to anyone.

The parking situation was terrible for Mother’s Day. They had an SUV blocking entry and exit for a half hour. The lobby area was overcrowded as were the bathrooms. It was chaotic and not like previous Mother’s Day. Thankfully the food and ambiance were wonderful when you finally got inside but the entrance and exit were subpar.

Établissement haut de gamme et pourtant on vous fait attendre 15 minutes avant de vous installer à table tout en vous disant qu’on vous propose une table moins bien placée que celle qui était prévue ou alors il faudra attendre 20 minutes de plus. À la sortie, presque 900 dollars pour 2 (avec un apéritif et une bouteille de vin), c’est le même niveau de prix qu’un 3 étoiles en France ou à Monaco, et même si la cuisine y est raffinée, on est quand même loin d’un 3 étoiles. Sans compter le bruit dans la salle. On se croirait dans un foirail et pas dans un restaurant gastronomique. Ce qui est positif, c’est qu’il y a une grosse marge de progression

Let me start by saying that the location and views are absolutely stunning! Make sure you get there before sunset to witness the city turning from day to night. The place itself was less comfortable…for some reason we constantly felt a sort of cold wind blowing which caused my girlfriend feeling uncomfortly cold. This was handled well by providing a blanket, but no wind would have been better of course. The food is good, but not exclusive. The Winelist is classic and offers various top-rated Californian and French wines. The menu comes at a fixed price of USD 195 each. A 20% gratuity was added to the bill automatically. Where I come from, gratuity is an element which is to be given by the customer, not something to be taken by the restaurant. That is the purpose of it.

Extremely expensive though very much worth it! No flaws anywhere. Stellar service. Food outstanding. Beautiful setting. When I can put together another $650, I’ll make a new reservation for my wife and I : )

The best meal we've eaten at The River Cafe yet. The food was extremely well executed and wonderful. Loved the menu. Every bite was delicious and satisfying and also leaving you wanting more. Perfect meal.

Me encantó el lugar, casi todo estuvo delicioso, el plato principal la capa que traía estaba un poco pasada de sal. Pero todo lo demás de maravilla, además que el chef mandó otros platillos complementarios. Cócteles deliciosos y gran cava de vinos!

Wao, it was above our expectations! We travel from Puerto Rico because we wanted to have dinner here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. This restaurant is spectacular, the view is breathtaking, the entrance is beautiful, the service was outstanding, the food was amazingly delicious. Definitely, a night to remember!

We were there to celebrate my partner’s birthday. With great views and elaborate meals, this is indeed a great place to celebrate special occasions. Outside the regular course, they also serve items in between to change the palette. Most items we ordered were out of this world, but some were underwhelming too (like the Branzino). However, I found the place a bit pricey. I have been at other fine dining restaurants before and 200$ per meal should get you either more courses or more variety in the food. Also, tables are a bit too closely packed leaving almost no privacy. Finally, wish they had more non-alcoholic beverage options (sure it’s a fancy place as justified by their 500+ wine options but still)

1000/10 experience from the service to the food and the ambiance. They treat you like royalty. A wonderful special occasion restaurant. The chef also brings out special plates between courses that were amazing. Staff was incredible.

A wonderful evening at The River Cafe. Food was excellent & enjoyed by all four of us dining that evening. The service and attention, the ambience and the views of New York from Brooklyn Bridge all added to the overall experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The experience was out of this world, the staff from the moment we arrived could not be more attentive. The service & food were exceptional & just when you think you’ve ordered your 3 course set menu, the staff bring out small plates, compliment of the chef. The view from the Resturant looking back on Manhattan was fantastic & breathtaking! If you can afford it try it, it’s not the cheapest by far, but probably the best dining experience most people will have ever have! Superb & thanks again to all the staff!

I really love the atmosphere. Food is so delicious. The server is so nice. I am Asian. For desserts, is too sweet for us. I could understand it. Ice cream is perfect. Next time, I think I need to talk to server not too sweet for my desserts. I will recommend to my friend.
