Keith, our server was excellent. The meatballs were underwhelming. The pizza crust seemed undercooked and soft but my date liked it. The wedge salad was not fresh! The food was mediocre. I have had better from them… but I will still go back.

Much, much better food quality this Saturday. The previous weekend, April 27th, was a disaster with the food, but the Rim definitely made up for it this visit. Catfish, salad (so fresh), collard greens, fried mushrooms, cornbread, EVERY dish my party ordered was definitely five stars!!! Thank you!

Our server Rae was AMAZING!! Super sweet, knowledgeable, attentive and fun! We had a great brunch. We would definitely come back and ask for Rae :)

Always have a good experience at the this location. We had Keith as our server and for a table of 8 he made sure everyone was taken care of. The food was delicious and the service was great. I would recommend for anyone who is craving southern American food to check this place out.

I had to make a last minute reservation for a group of 8 people for lunch, as the place we had planned to go was reserved for outdoors, and it was raining hard. That said, the Rim was perfect - we had space for the entire group, the food was terrific, and the server went out of his way to make sure we had everything we wanted.

During a previous visit I observed a dish and was anticipating it. So, during this visit I ordered it the "shrimp our way" and was "Highly Disappointed" when I received it and there was only 4 shrimp. I questioned it with the server and her response was " yeah it only comes with 4 shrimp and most people add extra. Therefore, I requested more prepared the same way and received 4 regular fried shrimp of which I didn't accept. I was then told I'd have to purchase a whole different order at the same price as the one received if I wanted it the same, therefore I refused. In my opinion the server should have advised the shrimp # of shrimp it came with and given me an option to add more shrimp, because I had never ordered this before and advised her of it. So disappointed, left the established still hungry!!!!

Sierra was very GOOD. My 1st time visiting today and I have no complaints. I absolutely loved everything about the Rim. Service, staff and restaurant was excellent. My party was (7) and not one thing went wrong!! Lemon drops were the BEST THING EVER. I’d recommend this location to ANYONE.

We had a good meal here, but if you’re looking for a place that serves healthy food, besides salads, you may want to eat somewhere else. the portions are large with a lot of fried food and sauces.

This was my 4th visit to The Rim Waterside. Every time before was exceptional service and food. Unfortunately this time was seriously disappointing. Service was lacking and food was mediocre. We sent food back to the kitchen and desserts that should have been at the very least warm came to the table cold. This was a birthday celebration where reservations were made for 8 people and a request was made for a specific server (which we did not get). After having hyped up The Rim to our guests, we were completely embarrassed by the whole evening. We will think twice before we visit again….I so badly want to consider they were having an off night….who knows?!? So disappointing.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience here. It was our sons 16th birthday and he and his friends had a fantastic time. Ourserver Bella was amazing as was Sean. We highly recommend the pretzel appetizer, the Diablo pizza, and the chicken. Fried chicken was outstanding!

We arrived at the restaurant, and they did not have our reservation that we made through OpenTable. I don’t know where the disconnect or breakdown was. However, they were able to get us seated as we had originally requested. Thankfully.

Loved the food!! Would recommend them to not leave the windows open during the dinner time bc the mayflies were so bad we could barely eat. Our waitress Mickey was awesome and SO attentive! Loved the ambience and the drinks were cute! The portion sizes of the entrees were HUGE! I’d recommend the 2lb Fred flintstone rib AMAZING FALL OFF THE BONE! Also the blakended red fish!

The room has an awesome lunch menu with countless dishes $15 and under. We have enjoyed the chicken and waffles which had an amazing syrup with it, the chicken fried steak, which was just a little tough but the flavor was good. The mashed potatoes are creamy with good flavor, the collard greens are amazing with just a little bit of heat in them, the corn chowder is tasty and the meatloaf is good. The chicken fried chicken is my favorite dish, however, today, the chicken is actually a little tough instead of tender as usual. The service is amazing with the staff, being very welcoming, polite, and knows the menu well The bread pudding is before the best dessert

What a great restaurant! The decor is eclectic. They take reservations. Our party of 7 was seated at a high top in the bar area. Kevin was a fantastic waiter! Lots of fun and good food recommendations - very attentive. Would definitely recommend!

I ordered a shrimp creole. You would think that a dish with the name of the protein in it would at least have a serving size. There was a total of 2 small shrimp and two small pieces of sausage in the dish. So, I essentially got full on rice and vegetables for $19.00. I was very disappointed.

Found The Rim on OpenTable because I wanted to try some place new & I was blown away! Everything on the menu sounds super yum, & I can tell you that what I got definitely fit the bill! 😋 Will definitely be back!

This place was so disappointing. I made reservations for 10 and showed up early to check in. Table was not ready so we were asked to wait in the lobby of the restaurant (next to the hostess stand). 10 min past our reservation we checked in a second time all to learn they gave our table away even though we checked in first. Their hosting staff and managers took no accountability for their mistake. They told us we could wait an additional 20 minutes for tables to clear, still not apologizing. Thankfully, Piattello next door was able to accommodate our large group providing us with a table immediately. Unfortunately, when leaving, The Rim’s staff made us feel as though we were in the wrong. Terrible experience.

We made a late same day reservation and had no problem with being seated. Food was excellent, minus the cheesecake, I would recommend the peach cobbler instead.

Our dinner was a celebration night with friends and our experience couldn’t have been better. Everything from the time we were greeted to the time we left was amazing! Our server Keith was so fun and attentive. Our food was excellent!! The hostess even took out time to take group photos for us.

It was Valentine’s Day so we expected a wait even with reservations. I feel the restaurant was over booked and overwhelmed. It took over an hour to get our food after ordering! People around us were curious of why it was taking so long but we made the best of it and talked among the tables that were close. Made new friends! I ordered corn chowder and cornbread- had to send soup back because it was cold- husband got shrimp and grits - shrimp was over cooked but the collard greens were fantastic. We ordered beignets- nothing more than dough thrown in a fryer- they were lukewarm flat Sopapillas- wouldn’t order them again. If we go back we would probably try the short ribs- they looked delicious.

The Rim has been our best fine on OpenTable this year! We like the area where the booze are, as they are more private, and quieter. The lunch specials are amazing! The salad was very fresh and had more than lettuce and tomatoes… Cucumbers, flavorful, croutons, etc. and perfect chunky blue cheese dressing, which we got on the side. The chicken fried chicken was amazing! The batter was tasty, but thin enough to not cover the flavor of the tender chicken. The mashed potatoes were a little dry, and I should’ve asked for some gravy to go with them. The roast beef had an excellent flavor, and the carrots were perfectly cooked. In addition to the great food, starting with the hostess and including the server, all of the staff was friendly and efficient, and made you feel welcomed

The hostess/manager was extremely nice! I set a reservation for a very large party and had a few extra show up and they didn’t give me any hesitation. Just solutions. Our waitress McKenzie Was great as well. She handled all 20 of us with care, and urgency!

Server got our starters wrong, part of our dinner order wrong. Server recommended the chicken. Couldn’t eat half the chicken it was so dry.

the fish taco's were very good but tortillas were stiff and old. we waited a long time for service and management offered desert to compensate. We would go back.
