Welcome to The Rex Seaside Steakhouse.

A neighborhood steakhouse using seasonal and quality ingredients to bring flavor and hospitality to Redondo Beach. Join us in our dining room every night or our Drift Cocktail Lounge on Friday and Saturdays for a night to remember.

Intentionally sourced with an eye for quality, we offer USDA Prime, Miyazaki A5 Japanese Wagyu, and American Wagyu. All are steaks are cooked to perfection over our white oak fire.

Family-owned and operated, we strive to off a one-of-a-kind luxury experience with all the charm of a neighborhood restaurant.

Took my son and two of his friends there for his 14th birthday. My son and one friend had the Tour of Beef, the other, a NY strip…all Three boys walked out and said, “That was the best steak I’ve ever had”. Thanks for making Jameson’s bday memorable.

Great, overall and would come back. Called restaurant ahead of time to see vegan options and the chef offered to make off the menu cauliflower steak. Glad I called otherwise not many vegan options.

Such a wonderful dining experience in the heart of the Village! The lamb is absolutely amazing! It was a great location for us to celebrate our anniversary, the staff even signed a very nice card for us that was waiting at our table! We will definitely be back & soon!

As a local business owner, I also strive for creating an experience for all who come into my Salon, it’s not just about the services we provide, but the ENTIRE EXPERIENCE , from the moment you enter, till the end of your visit. I feel that The Rex provides that exact same thing. It’s not just the food and drinks, which are outstanding, (Thank you Chef Walter and awesome bartenders!), The Servers are all well trained and very attentive, and give you that (old school service!) that one expects in a high end establishment. The Rex is far from a stuffy upscale restaurant, but more like a “Family” restaurant if you would, and is ALWAYS SPOT ON every time I dine here! Excellent as usual. I have been dining here since it has opened and Rex is top notch and never disappoints with superior service and food. Kyle is always a pro with excellent customer service and makes us feel welcome and special. Looking forward to our next visit real soon.
