Located underneath the historical Jacksonville Inn in Jacksonville, Oregon, the restaurant serves modern wine country cuisine, fine wines and handcrafted cocktails.
Being Family Owned and Operated and the matriarch originating from Florence, Italy, we strongly believe in the magic of food and the power it has to being families together. We relish in the opportunity to bring our passion for food and wine to the Jacksonville Inn and witness the memories made by all that dine at our table. I have only been to this restaurant one time, but it is quickly becoming my favorite. This restaurant offers such a friendly welcoming atmosphere along with great food. It is by far the best restaurant I have visited in Jacksonville, Oregon yet. We will be returning multiple times.

The service was so bad and everything went wrong. Appetizers and entrees came at the same time. Long wait to get the appetizers and even long for the main course. Food was not what we expected for a restaurant with this price level.

Went for Mother’s Day brunch and was not aware it was buffet. Buffet was not good, food was cold and they were not replenishing the food at all. When they replenished the tray, the new food was already cold. :( They only had dessert plates for the buffet. We had to ask for actual dinner size plates. Server forgot our drinks and took the server way too long to come back to our table to check on us. Brunch was overpriced. For 4 people it was $180. Not able to order off of the menu during the brunch buffet. If I could I would rate it a 0. We won’t be back and it is a shame because we live close by to downtown Jacksonville.

I was not expecting a buffet brunch. It was not advertised as that. The price was far too expensive for what we received in part because they were not replenishing the buffet. The deserts looked like they were purchased at Costco. I will not return.

Many unfortunate things about this very expensive dinner. We had a reservation and were seated immediately, no one came to table for 30 minutes. First beverage served after an hour. Fortunately the ambience was nice. Very small portions for the price. We ended up deciding to leave before meals arrived after having been there 2. 5 hours! Staff was friendly, but completely confused about orders, who had been served? Multiple tables around us were also leaving early. Incredibly sad, because historically it was a great restaurant, now under new ownership. They need management. Also, can only use a flight of stairs to get into and out of restaurant, which was not ideal for our elderly parents.

It is a must-go if you visit Jacksonville. It is a family-run restaurant. the only reason I gave a lower rating on the service was we sat inside and they had an outside dining that was full. The food is done to perfection. We definitely will go back when we visit again in fall.

We love Decant in Medford, but we were ecstatic to learn that the Jacksonville Inn is now home to half the Decant family. Both restaurants are among the very best in Oregon- or anywhere. We hope Jacksonville and Medford realize and take full advantage of these gems!

Fast efficient seating. Choice of plain or sparkling$ water. For 2, we split the clam appetizer and andive salad which both were great. Focaccia bread with olive oil. Dinners were crusted halibut and filet mignon with scalloped potatoes, asparagus, braise shortrib. Both were delicious. Desserts were a pasion fruit tart with coconut ice great and a brownie with a syrup and ice cream. These are not large desserts but very high end with several blended flavors. A+++++. Staff and owner were great.
