Crée en 1981, le restaurant Auberge du Soleil est niché dans un terrain de 13 hectares et donne sur les vignes verdoyantes de la vallée de Napa. La cuisine a évolué sur le thème du vin de pays avec des menus innovants inspirés de la générosité de la vigne, combinés avec la nourriture pour enchanter et inspirer les passionnés de longue date. Le Bistro & Bar est l'endroit idéal où se rendre pour apprécier un verre de vin au coucher du soleil sur la terrasse, pour un repas en plein air décontracté ou pour prendre un dernier verre au coin du feu. Le restaurant, qui présente le luxe sous son meilleur jour, donne sur certains des vignobles les plus réputés de Napa. Proposant plus de 40 des meilleurs vins de la vallée servis au verre, le restaurant est pourvu d'une cave contenant près de 17 000 vins, pour vous permettre de profiter d'une expérience complète des sens des vignobles de Californie. Les réservations pour les soupers en été sont disponibles en ligne de 17h30 à 18h00 et de 20h00 à 21h00. Our experience was beyond disappointing. It was meant to be one of the highlights of our trip and we booked months in advance! We booked for a 5:30 slot since nothing was available all week at our preferred time of 7:30. When we got there, there were many tables available at the later preferred time. It was not packed in fact not that busy at all. We had high expectations but could not have been more disappointed. We chose the four course menu option for $195 per person. We picked 8 different options between us, making sure we could taste as many different items as possible. The only poultry option was duck (which I don’t care for), the only steak options were sirloin (no filet), and the only fish were salmon and tuna, no shellfish or white fish options. Nonetheless, I made it work and ordered lamb. Every single thing we were served was disappointing. The lobster first course had no flavor/taste. The sauce was good but the lobster had no taste at all. If I closed my eyes I would not have known what I was eating. The tuna starter was the same with no flavor and no seasoning. Served room temperature, not good. The second course was not good either. Both were cold, the overwhelming taste of lime in the shrimp risotto was almost not edible. The ricotta balls of some sort were bland and boring. Our main courses were cold as well. I sent mine back to be heated. The only thing worth eating on either plate were the potatoes which were excellent. I chose not to eat the lamb as the sauce was so overwhelming, tart and terrible that I gave up. The side was undetectable as to what it even was and tasted awful. Even the bread and butter were bland and tasteless. We were told we would be receiving some sort of salad but it never came. At this point we gave up. We asked if we could change to the 3 course because at that point we didn’t even want to bother trying desert. The waiter was non attentive. The staff and bartenders were amazing. Best cosmo ever! Otherwise SKIP

Jaime bien d’ambience de restaurant! J’ai pris le menu avec 2 plats mais c’était grand comme le taille américaines !!!! Mais sinon c’était délicieux :)

The service and view was fantastic. We went to eat there because of the incredible streak of awards that it has received, but the food was only okay. Excellent presentation, but the flavor was lackluster, the meat on both of our meals was extremely chewy. It was underwhelming for a place where you can expect to pay $200-$250 / person for the meal.

The food and service match the price. Outstanding quality and presentation, the only problem is trying to decide on which dish to order. All of our meals were superb. The service was great and friendly. The Napa Valley views while eating outdoors on the veranda are the perfect accompaniment for the great food and service. Of course such an experience will be expensive, but worth it.

The setting is plush and overlooks the beautiful resort and valley below. The food is absolutely mind blowing with their use of local produce, attention to detail, balanced sauces, perfectly cooked meats, with expertly selected wines to accompany. Our server patiently answered every question with extensive local knowledge which really enriched our experience. Extra touches like chefs amuse boucher, another serve of rosemary bread and exquisite sweet treats served with our tea rounded out a perfect dining experience. Thank you very much!
