Located in the heart of Denver, The Regular brings an elegant and approachable concept to the city.

Chef Brian De Souza and Syd Younggreen arrive to the scene with an innovative a la carte menu with influences from their experiences throughout the world. You can find menu items like Peruvian-inspired tapas, ceviche, tartare, and locally-sourced Lazy Acre beef.

The menu is complemented by a refreshing craft cocktail selection and impressive wine list curated by our beverage director, Bruce Martin Polack. Our Happy Hour offerings include $10 select wines and draft beer, spritzes, and sangria.

Warm and intimate upscale interiors. Friendly and professional staff. Food was creative, modern and delicious. I had the Colorado bass and papa side of potatoes. The meal was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I enjoyed the subtle Peruvian flavors and fantastic cocktail options. The wine list is extremely selective and discerning with an emphasis on biodynamic vineyards. Step out of the box and you will not be disappointed!

What a fantastic treat The Regular was last night! We had our sales team from Germany in town and reserved a table for six, the hospitality provided to our table from the chef and the rest of the staff was absolutely incredible! I think we sampled everything on the menu! The flavors and creativity in the food were fantastic. Not sure how our German friends can become “regulars”, but I assure you they will be back!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Regular! The 9 oz lazy acre filet is absolutely superb! You also have to check out the duck breast accompanied by a braised duck leg! Server made us feel absolutely special, we will be back!

Absolutely delicious meal in Downtown Denver. The cocktails are super creative and the food is so flavorful. You will not find anywhere else like this around. It's our go and could not recommend more!!

My wife asked for a Kir Royale, do not have finally settled for a Diet Coke. I asked for an Arnold Palmer, do not have. I asked for ice tea, do not have. Really no drinks available if you want non-alcoholic beverage. Finally settled on a bottle of wine that was in their menu, don’t have. We left and went somewhere else for dinner!

The Stranger pop-up was an enjoyable experience only because it was very intimate and allowed me and my friends to chat since it was so quiet. However overall the drinks were standard, and the price vs what we were served was simply not what I expected. The drinks were uninspired and way overpriced. While the staff was kind, there was no flair in their work - no explanations about their creations and no reason for me to choose this pop-up over a standard evening at The Regular. If there had been excitement from the staff over their creations or if they’d shown off why they loved their craft? I would have had a much better experience.

I absolutely loved dining at the Regular! Every aspect of the experience— from the ambiance, to the food and cocktails, to the service— was incredibly thoughtful, creative, and elevated. My favorite dishes were the ceviche and filet mignon, they were outstanding! I can’t wait to go back to the Regular.

Hip interior. Nice music track. Loved having a booth for the two of us. The service was excellent. Ordered cocktails, appetizers, dinners, a side and desserts. Cocktaail menu fabulous. The house salad was very salty; I sent it back and they brought another salad, which didn't taste any different. I'm an anchovy lover, so ... The dinner options are interesting and varied, but plating is very small portions relative to the price. Both dinners were good (Duck, Colorado Bass) but the predominant seasoning we could taste was salt, including the mushroom side dish. Chef likes their salt. Desserts were also varied, but in terms of taste, meh. We spent almost $300 for two. Won't go back.

Started at the bar for pre-dinner cocktail and the entire experience was excellent. Friendly, comfortable and delicious. Dinner was good. New menu. Highlights included the steak tartare, the mushroom medley and the duck breast.

What an unexpected gem! From Jamal, the host, to Kaitlyn, our server, to Chef De Souza who came out to say hello, we felt absolutely taken care of. From our state tartar, appetizer, to our dessert martinis, everything was absolutely perfect. I can’t recommend the regular enough.

Our return to The Regular was even better than the first visit. Beginning with Ian the bartender and some of the most creative cocktails I’ve seen in a long time! The whole Bass with a lobster sauce was unbelievable! The personal attention given to us by the husband/wife team that lead this unique establishment was very special!

This place is superb and I would not be surprised if they get a Michelin star in the next two years the food was beyond amazing. The tequila they convinced us to do a tasting of was fabulous. We got a $200 bottle of wine and it was also also great.

Premium location and great ambiance. Good food, not great, but good. Service was ok for the size of the restaurant, servers were running around and not paying much attention to the tables. Overall, it was ok for the price of the restaurant. There are better food and service for the same price in town.

We have seen The Regular on Instagram and decided to stop by and try out their lounge. First of all the atmosphere was absolutely stunning and the bartender was a pro and very friendly! Give The Rivers of Todd a try, a fantastic drink! Oysters with caviar were fresh, and very well presented. We’re booking to try dinner this weekend !

We had a 730 reservation. We were not seated until after 8 o'clock. It was almost impossible to get a drink at the bar but we finally got one after about 20 minutes. We thought we were getting multicourse dinner and wine pairings. What we got was selecting one appetizer, one entrée, sides and one dessert, and then selecting our own wine glasses from the list. It was extremely slow. At 9:30, two hours after our reservation, we were finished with our appetizers and had waited over half an hour for our entrées and more wine. No one came to check on us, and no one was paying attention--we never really had a waiter. The sommelier forgot our order. He didn't know much about wine, thinking your Vin Santo dessert wine was made with Sangiovese grapes with noble rot. It is actually made with Trebbiano and malvasia grape that are just dried on mats. The only saving grace was the food, which was excellent across-the-board. Creative and tasty. But the side dishes didn't come until the entrées were completed. You have a serious service problem and we will not return until we are comfortable that it has been addressed. Thanks for listening.

Valentines day went poorly for the restaurant, something must have caused the kitchen to be quite backed up, but we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation and received food 1.5 hours after our reservation started. Food was fine, and service was generally apologetic for the issue.

Avoid this place unless you want an overpriced, stressful dining experience. Ambience was excellent, but food came in minuscule portions and service was atrocious. (1) Booked for 7.30pm but not seated until 8.40pm (2) Ordered drinks from the bar due to the interminable wait, and asked to put the drinks on the bill for the table - was rudely informed that I had no option but to pay there and then, as if they thought I might abscond and abandon the $150pp I prepaid for dinner. (3) Asked for bread to mop up the sauce in one of the dishes but was told there was no bread in the entire restaurant (4) Server arrived with the starters and brusquely inquired “Well, are these going anywhere in particular?” (At this price level the server should know which dish is for which diner, or least find a polite way to ask). (5) No validation for the parking garage in the building (6) Had to ask for the wine list, and was given a dirty look as if to say “what do you know about wine?” 7) Generally made to feel like we, the customers, were an inconvenience and they’d really prefer if we just buggered off and stopped asking for things like being seated, food and wine.

I made a premium reservation. It took me 45 minutes to be seated after arriving. After that we ordered in 5 minutes, our food arrived 2 hours later. However the food that did arrive was absolutely spectacular. If you’re looking for a special place to take a special someone, id look elsewhere.

Disappointment. Reservations were pre-paid only, nearly $300. This did not include drinks. First impression was great, but the dining area was quite compact. A lot of tables in one little room. Fine dining was the expectation, at least that’s what we dressed for. The menu was lacking. Three courses only. We ordered everything at once. Our drinks came timely. Then we sat for an hour. Nearly finishing our drinks entirely. Our server never checked in. Where were our appetizers? We watched plates come and go all around us and yet everyone in the room seemed to be waiting extravagant lengths of time. Finely we are presented with the sides we ordered to come with our entrees. We had yet to receive our appetizers. We sent them back. The waiting continued. Finally one appetizer comes. Then immediately following our entrees. Then our sides. Then a second appetizer. The meal was a catastrophe. Nothing could be enjoyed. We felt extremely rushed now. Our mains got cold. Not to mention plates were left with us without utensils. I was insulted at the portion sizes, you have small little appetizers and mains and then you give us side bowls heaping with “potato purée”. Just call it what it is, mashed potatoes. You make me pre-pay, just to fill me up on startch and butter? Chaos was coming from the kitchen, zero communication on which tables had what. We saw and heard several parties in our same position. It appeared the servers had zero communication with the kitchen. The host ended our evening by presenting a gift card of $100 to us with an apology. However, when I as your guest have had such a bad experience, do you really believe I’m considering returning? If anything just compensate us the remainder of the bill and our drinks. That would be the courteous thing to do. If we do return, it will simply be for drinks, they were the only thing we were able to enjoy during our time at The Regular.

We attended the Valentine’s Day event. The place is awesome! Great fun service. The pricing was a bit a steep for very small portions. The drinks were also delicious! Thumbs up.
