The games, bowling and drinks were amazing however, the food was a massive disappointment. Our burgers were burnt, the servings were small for the price.. overall just wasn’t pleased with the food aspect of the night.

A few broken games and drinks were very very expensive. Everything else reasonably priced. I wouldn’t buy drinks there again because I feel the prices are too high.

I recomend to go Rec Room. It is an incredible place to share with family and friends if you want eat and play interesting video games.

Lettuce wraps are not recommended. No veggies and way too much sauce in the chicken. Not very appetizing. Told the waitress and she didn’t seem too concerned. Whipped goat cheese, jalapeños and calamari was good.

Was a fun night out with the family. Was really busy so was noisy, but that meant everyone there was having a great time. Loved it and will definitely be going again soon.

First time reserving a table ended up needing a second table, host and server were fantastic and made the experience seamless, my son had his birthday there and they made everything fall into place exactly how it needed to. Thank you to the staff who made sure all guests were taken care of and for being so amazing. 10/10 recommend😋

Food is average, the cocktails are good and their service! The place needs to tidy up a bit as popcorn bits all over the place. Good for family with young kids lots of games to choose from.

Our waitress could not answer simple questions about the menu. There were so many fruit flies landing in our beer and the lettuce wraps were served with a wedge of lettuce , unable to put filling inside so cut it up and ate like a salad. The fish in the tacos was cold. The manager was not at all concerned about our experience when we told him. Overall a waste of time and money.

Food is not their strong point... nachos are soggy, how can you screw up nachos, but they do. Pizzas aren't horrible.

Our server Sophie was fantastic! seem to be not very many servers on the floor so pump up the staff a bit . waited a long time for food and a long time in between server checking our table. she was really busy, not fair to her. Pizza crust was a little chewy otherwise food was good. What come again

We have been to the Rec Room a variety of times before, and maybe they were having an off night. Quite a few things were not available on the menu, but we were not informed until after we placed the orders. The drinks took at least 20 minutes to arrive. The server was nice, but service was very slow. Again, perhaps it was just too busy? For Cineplex + members, there is nothing at the wristband machine when you come in letting you know that you will "not" collect points by using that machine. So, word to the wise (especially if spending hundreds of dollars like we did) you need to go to the counter in order to receive credit. The games were entertaining and the newly added beer station by the bowling was an excellent addition.

Food was a little pricey for what you get and service was sub-par. My friend got a $20 plate of nachos and was very disappointed. Chips were burnt, there was a comedically small amount of cheese and if she wanted meat, it was $6 dollars extra. The service was not up to par, but because we’re reserved for more than 8 people we were required to tip 18%, which would have been fine if the service was better. The beer they served was warmer than the glass it was served in, the “sparkling” wine was super flat, there was no ice in some other drinks, the place settings were set up in a way that confused all of us and the server was nice but seemed a bit out of it. The music was so loud we had to practically yell across the table. Our service wasn’t horrible, but if they’re going to be charging the prices they do you’d expect a better experience.

Wouldn’t go back. Food was OK, super expensive for what it was. Service was slow. Half the games were busted but you couldn’t tell until it took your tokens.

This review may seem confusing. Great place and concept. The food is actually really good and good value. However, many staff are quite obviously poorly trained and we have experienced rudeness from several over a few visits now. Today, we brought a group of 8 to watch the Jets game and have dinner. Our waiter and hostess were very friendly. Unfortunately, the temperature was quite cold and very uncomfortable. We had to ask several times to see if something could be done and everyone said they would tell the manager. After a few attempts, we asked to speak to the manager ourselves. This is very the 1 star comes in. Based on dealing with this manager, it seems obvious why some there are so many improperly trained and rude staff. I can confidently say that we were not rude but the manager instantly seemed nervous and ill prepared to deal with concerns. He was instantly very defensive and started lecturing us about how it was a large facility and was hard to control the temperature. No apology or empathy for our experience and he basically gave us a reason to not go there again. Why would we go spend our money at a place where we are going to be uncomfortable and are told that just the way it is? Yet ironically, the temperature went up within a few minutes and everything was fine. So, the “manager” themselves ruined an otherwise good night and caused several members of our group to say they would not return. Seems silly to explain to a group of customers that the facility is not properly equipped to deal with the environment on cold days. And on top of it in a rude and condescending manner. I am actually taking the time to write this review, because I actually like this place I want to see it succeed. Hopefully, this feedback is taken seriously. And we are not looking for anything because we want this to be taken sincerely and not assumed that we are just looking for free stuff.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating. Our server was with us promptly and continued to check on us throughout the afternoon. Besides the pizzas being a little small for teenage boys.. they were absolutely delicious! The food and services was excellent. We will be back!

I’m not sure the 18% automatic gratuity is fair when your waitress is subpar. We had to wait for our orders (snack and drinks - pretty simple), didn’t get some item only to be told they were none left (mini Crème Brûlée) and needed our receipt adjusted twice. Our whole group did not want to give 18% gratuity but we’re forced to. We all agreed that reserving a table and be forced to tip for bad service will never happen again. First come first served waiting is better than reserving if eating at all. Games were fun.

I’m in a wheelchair and transferring from my vehicle to my wheelchair was very dangerous. Parking lot and handicap spots were extremely slippery. Needs some salt/sand.

Server is on the slow side and she forgot to ask me with my scene card when i paid so I didn’t get my points after spending so much money for food, games and drinks.

Food was good. My brothers meal came after the rest of us had already finished our meals as there was a mixup in the kitchen but they were very apologetic about it.

1 out of 7 of us enjoyed their meals. Probably the worst burger I’ve ever had at any establishment in Winnipeg. I wasn’t the only one who ordered a burger and they gave the same review.

The service is slow for the amount of tip is given. I booked the reservation on the open table. When we arrived we still had to wait for a table to be opened up. Never got our wristband from our order that was included with our meal. It seems that they always run out of food. Not sure how that happens.
