The Rail Trail Flatbread Co., celebrated its grand opening on 12/12/23, marking not only a milestone in Milford's downtown revitalization but also a nod to the original Hudson location's success. Built in a meticulously renovated former bank that features a spacious restaurant and bar, outdoor patio, and upstairs events space, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The Milford location reflects a two-and-a-half-year renovation effort, preserving historical elements like the century-old clock, vault door, and exposed brick walls. The open dining layout encourages interaction, adorned with family photos for a homey feel.

Though famous for flatbreads, Rail Trail boasts diverse offerings, each component is made in-house. Notable flatbreads include "Fig & Walnut" and "Mexican Street Corn," alongside the popular "Primo Pepperoni." Appetizers like "Hot Tots" and "Sesame Cauliflower" showcase Rail Trail's culinary creativity.

Glad we made reservations because it was very busy! We were seated by the pizza ovens which was amazing to watch while we dined. Service was very fast and efficient. Food was absolutely delicious! We had the sticky cauliflower, curry kabob bowl and French onion flatbread. Would definitely recommend all of those! Even the mocktail was delicious! Will definitely be back!

Made a reservation for 6pm called to change it for 3 pm the team member was very accommodating. We had great food and service during our visit. We have had dinner here 7 or 8 times, it’s always consistently good! Lola our server was super friendly and attentive. Look forward to our next visit!

First time and we will be back. Food was delicious but they forgot the arugula on our make your own pizza so only 4 stars for food. But our apps and other pizzas were excellent. Chicken cacciatore was super. And curly pepperoni had a ton of pepperoni. Noise level is fairly high but we sat near the door to the patio and it was quieter back there. Great server. Excellent beer list on tap. Like I said, we will be back!

BEAUTIFUL new location, with 2 ovens, plenty of space, grand bar, parking! Delightful staff and the "family friendly/family forward" welcoming ambiance of their flagship Hudson location. Mothers day brunch was extra special with their HUGE shareable plates. My favorite? The breakfast roll! Thinly rolled flatbread dough stuffed with egg, bacon, potato, rolled and baked to perfection. Simply wonderful people and approachable (and delicious) food!

So I went in for Mother's Day brunch which was not a brunch as barely anything that could qualify as a breakfast item. The pancakes were not light and fluffy but dense and bland. Plating was not appetizing. Asking for a side of bacon produced confusion. Server was a robot. I've had dinner there and much better but will never return for a "brunch" again.

The flatbread chicken was diced so small that we weren't sure what it was. Overall the service was excellent but the noise level in the restaurant was overwhelming, conversation was difficult at best. I'd like to see some sort of sound treatment on the walls. A small side-salad would be a good addition to the menu.

My husband and I got two different pizzas. They were both fantastic. Our server was super friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable. The value was awesome because they offered a free pizza for teachers on teacher appreciation day and I’m a teacher! My only complaint was the noise level. It was a little too loud. This has been my experience both times there, but it would never prevent me from going there. I will for sure be back!

My colleagues and I had a lovely time on the patio on Tuesday afternoon. Not only were our meals delicious, they were free due to it being teacher appreciation day, and your special offer. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and it was great to enjoy the patio on a sunny afternoon.

We came in to have dinner with our son and daughter in law who had not been there and we all loved it! Food was great!!! Drinks were amazing and atmosphere was beautiful. Looking forward to going back again soon!

we came in for a late dinner and were pleasantly surprised how fast the food came out. Our waitress was excellent as well.

To put it as simply as possible, 10/10 recommend! Upon every visit, my wife and I are always greeted with such care & compassion from the staff as well as manager Ricky. There is not one person there that does not make us feel at home! Server Tim is always prompt, knowledgeable, speedy, but most importantly PERSONABLE. We live in a world these days where most people just look at it as a job, but for Tim and many others there, it’s always about the care & compassion for the customer. Love this place and everything about it!

7pm rez thru Open Table a huge help as walk ins piled in at same time. Definitely word is out on this new Milford spot. We were seated upstairs at our request for a quieter table overlooking Main Street. Food was great, healthy choices and flatbread anyway you’d like it our choices along with the spicy cauliflower app. Drinks could be faster but in fairness the bar got slammed at 7 with the Celts and Bs in the playoffs. If you don’t mind a higher noise level the bar a great place to eat and ours next time we are back as a couple. Highly recommend checking this place out. Good value and ambiance to fit your preference. Family friendly too. Enjoy!

Disappointed in the menu (no entrees), got flatbread which is what you are known for- it was overcooked, minimal amount of toppings. The drinks are tiny… also got tater tots- they were very good but only 6 of them… I’ve been to the Hudson location and it was much better. The saving grace is that we had a fantastic waitress

This was my first visit to the Milford location but I have been a regular at the Hudson location for years. Very impressed with the ambience, and food was as wonderful as expected. Great service too!

Large portions even for a small flatbread. Excellent appetizers, humus is a must and the feta fries were delicious.

This place is definitely busy, service ,food was good, a lot more noisy than I'd prefer where our table conversations you need to speak up to hear to each other, that's how loud it is. First time dining in. I will try it again at the bar next time.

My wife & I love it here! We always feel at home and welcome every time we stop by. The manager Ricky always takes care of us and provides exceptional service. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re missing out! The pizza is the BEST and the beer list is out of this world! I tell my friends & family how amazing this place is - we will be back!

Great spot for night out for dinner. Pizzas are always good as is the service. Entire waitstaff was friendly & attentive. Food was excellent & came out quickly. Just a great dining experience!

Excellent service! Our waitress was great and made great recommendations. Delicious food and drinks! Lively atmosphere! We paid the bill and were chatting away and then realized they were trying to close. They never said a word! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we had a reservation but had to wait a few minutes for our table when we got there.

The service was great, maybe a little too over-attentive. The host and server were super helpful and friendly. The pizza was awesome, especially the pepperoni.
