L'équipe de Blackbird vs Avec font hommage à la bière, au porc et au poisson. Le chef exécutif Paul Kahan et Chef de Cuisine Cosmo Goss ont développé un réseau de vendeurs pour approvisionner le restaurant, de poisson et fruits de mer élevés conformément à des pratiques de pêches durables ainsi que du porc élevé plein air pour le menu rustique de cuisine simple et varié.     The publican is a wonderful restaurant. The pork rinds and the chicken are always a hit. The carrots and broccolini are also well done.

    Happy hour deals are great- food and drink were tasty. Service was slow. Love the outside patio

    Mediocre food and a great server. Ambience noisy , too touristy and food was okay but oversauced and too salty

    The food was great. I think because it was Mother’s Day they were swamped and our food didn’t come out and was still on the check. I think being on top of those things is table stakes.

    Went to The Publican for Mother's Day Brunch. We sat outside in the perfect weather we had that day and had the oysters and several entrees that we shared. Oysters were excellent and all of the entrees were wonderful. Good coffee, good Boody Marys and good Mimosas as well. The wait staff was attentive enough to check in regularly without being a bother; entrees were brought to the table fairly quickly, our drinks were kept full and the table cleared regulary. Could not imagine a better Mother's Day Brunch!

    We picked Publican for our Mother's Day brunch. Our reservation was for 1030am, we arrived about 10 min early. We were seated and greeted by our server and we ordered our meal. As suggested we ordered enough to share. For a party of 3, we ordered 3 entrees, 2 sides, and drinks. It came all at once. Ok, no big deal... but what happened afterwards was an unpleasant dining experience. We felt rushed. Our plates were being cleared while we were eating. At 1050am they brought us 'to go' containers.... so we can pack it up and go. Disappointing and regretful for choosing Publican.

    The Publican is certainly a favorite, and continues to deliver. Sat outside, which is always a treat in Chicago, but we were next to the walking path. No incidents. If you enjoy generous cocktails, farm to table comfort food, and good service, then you should visit the Publican.
