Had chicken and waffles for first time that was great. My son and husband had chicken BLT and was disappointing due to white bread instead of chibata. Son's girlfriend had chicken tenders and that seems to be the best value. Post beer was also great. Very loud, but fun. Families come early, so come late if you want a quieter vibe.

I hate to write bad reviews but we just had a terrible service experience while there. It was Mother's Day, I was solo parenting while very pregnant and brought my 2 year old on a mommy-daughter date to try to make the day special while my husband had to travel for business. No expectations for anything extraordinary, I know Post is casual, but no one told me Happy Mother's Day, and our server took forever to come to our table every single time. Most other tables had gifts or presents around for women who were clearly Moms, so I know others were being treated well for the occasion. Not ideal with a young child to have to ask repeatedly for another fork, another water cup, to order food, for the check. She was not friendly or simply just doesn't enjoying working there? There were no social cues taken or happy energy provided. We typically order Post for takeout, we love the food, so I was disappointed to actually make an effort to eat there and find it so abysmal. Takeout preferred

Could be the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. And the Mac n cheese (both standard and hatch green chile) was perfectly creamy and tangy. Service was attentive and definitely not obtrusive. Perfect spot for dinner with the family.

5 of us went there this past Sunday night. We made reservations through OpenTable & we were seated immediately! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, from the Starters, to the Entrees, to the Beers, were EXCELLENT!!! I have never had fried chicken that was so juicy in all my life! You must try The Post if you’re looking for cold beers & hot chicken! You won’t be disappointed!

The Post is the best fried chicken in Colorado. It's always fun to eat there, and the food is always good. Decent drinks and sides as well. And as a bonus, your gluten-free loved ones have a full menu to choose from.

our food took forever to arrive at our table meanwhile tables with bigger parties were served got their check and left before we our food arrived. The service was less than enthusiastic. The food was cold and greasy. We have dined at Post many times, and never had such horrible food and service.

The food was like sad hospital food. I’ve been here years ago was so excited to bring my friend and we left disappointed and embarrassed. The chicken on chicken and waffles looked like country fried steak. The house style potatoes were literally just roasted potatoes not even a dash of salt on them. The sausage was a jimmy dean sausage patty heated up in the microwave. Our Brussels sprouts were somehow soggy and burnt? Overall super sad to see once a well deserved hyped restaurant go down the toilet. Like staff was fine whatever but the food was practically inedible

Service was slow. Late lunch, few tables occupied. Servers were cleaning up and restocking plates and glasses. Took 30 minutes plus to get two lunch specials. Follow up drinks were not given until we were out and subsequently requested. Repeat customers. Must have been an off day.

Everything was great from the staff to the chicken and biscuits but it is so loud that i will stick with my thought from before that only takeout or patio are in my future at post. I have never been a fan of loud restaurants as it seems like the perfect time to chat quietly with those you are dining with but this ain't that.

We love the Fried Chicken and sides (colored greens, cheddar biscuits). Always try to catch this place when we are in Denver. Consistently good, also good local beer selections, make for a fun outing.

We've been here many times. Last night was an anomaly. 15 minutes to get our pretzel bite app. Ordered four pieces of chicken, breast, thigh, wing, leg. Received a wing in place of thigh. Server was happy to fix. Only trouble was that it took another 15 minutes for thigh to arrive. (Not the server's fault)

Chicken and cauliflower appetizer and salad were very good. Service was excelent. Price was a bit too much. Balloons on the wall and party hat on the stuffed head was tackey.

Best wings in town. Full stop. They are big wings. They come out hot (temperature wise) - the wings are served steaming every time I have ordered them. And the wings are not drowning in sauce. The ones in the bottom of the basket as good as the ones on top. There is a great list of sides - the collard greens were A+ - the mac and cheese is tasty and surprisingly not too heavy - which is good because it makes the mac delicious - but bad because you end up eating too much of it. Lots of other good stuff on the menu. As good as it gets for comfort food.

This place is always amazing! We love that almost everything is Gluten Free & make it a point to come here often even though it is a 45-50 min. drive! On the 24th they were particularly wonderful & understanding! My dog ran away & so 2 of the people in our party couldn't attend on this busy Sunday. They were most accommodating & helped the people who physically ate at the restaurant & provided amazing food to go.....for those of us trying to get our dog home. ALWAYS APPRECIATED & after finally getting her home, we were able to sit down with friends & family for some very delicious food!

Mashed potatoes were cold. They brought warm potatoes and they were runny. Chicken was luke warm, did not seem fresh at all and had been over cooked. Everything was ver salted. Service was very mediocre.

Love this place!!! Such a great concept…amazing fried chicken and excellent beer to wash it down. I Love their brunch too, especially now that they have bottomless mimosas.

My son was diagnosed with celiac about 8 months ago. Our visit to the Post last night was the first time he had been able to eat fried chicken in a long while. The outstanding selection of gluten free options on both the appetizer and entree menus was a very welcomed pleasure. Each item we ordered was expertly prepared and plentiful. There wasn't anything we ordered that wasn't top-notch. We will be back multiple times. I believe this will now be our favorite place to dine. The food and atmosphere were outstanding and the wait staff was excellent!

Being limited to a gluten free diet, it was a pleasure to see a menu with so many options. As so many have stated in reviews, their fried chicken is amazing! We also ordered their pulled pork green chili with grits…just WOW!! Full of tender shredded pork, fresh green chilies with just enough spice served over the yummiest mound of creamy grits. Service was knowledgeable and attentive. We’ll be back to try so many different things on their menu!
