I used to be a fan of Post... last night gave me pause to go again soon. The staff was overwhelmed at 6pm on a Friday. The food was ok at best. My companion had the fried chicken sandwich and stated to was lackluster. My fried chicken was good but the greens were so sour. I expect some sourness, but my eyes were watering. We tried the whoopie pie and hand pie for dessert. Just don't. The whoopie pie was dry and flavorless but the mascarpone filling was tasty. Maybe it was just an off day, we all have them. But it will be a little while until we go again.

Maybe my expectations were too high after reading the online reviews??? Everything was fine, nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about, either. The chicken was on the dry side and the breading was not particularly crispy or flavorful. The best part was the cheddar cheese biscuits, they were delicious. And the service was excellent.

Came here on a whim after a 4 year hiatus. The food has improved SO much! We were a large party seated outside. Service was prompt, dinner was great. We had a range of items sandwiches, salads, several sides and they were all delicious. I will definitely be back before 4 years pass.

Had chicken and waffles for first time that was great. My son and husband had chicken BLT and was disappointing due to white bread instead of chibata. Son's girlfriend had chicken tenders and that seems to be the best value. Post beer was also great. Very loud, but fun. Families come early, so come late if you want a quieter vibe.

Had an unpleasant experience here a couple weeks ago, tried again tonight and it absolutely redeemed it. The gluten free fried chicken is why it’s worth returning to again and again, and service is usually top notch. Definitely recommend this place for a casual and fun night out.
