Pretty good experience. Waiter didn't listen to our requests and we didn't get exactly what we wanted. Hamburger is also served on an English muffin which didn't work that well. The gentleman checking us in was VERY nice and attentive.

Excellent restaurant! The food was excellent and our server was great! I made reservations on OT and it seemed like they really didn’t want to have the 8:30 reservation. As soon as we sat down they made last call and stacked chairs. They said they could serve us 2 drinks at once, but the bar was closing. Also, the server didn’t know what was 86’d until she entered it into her devise. First no deviled eggs, then no oysters. When we put in entrees, I asked her what wasn’t available and she said she wouldn’t/didn’t know. I told her I overheard mashed potatoes being 86’d from a different table, but again, she would have to put it in to know if it was available or not. Our server also couldn’t split a check, which was no big deal but I’m sure she would have been able to with the technology present. We went back for drinks prior to the magic show the next night and I asked roe a seltzer. Bar tender didn’t know if they had any but offered me a cider. On my way out, I saw seltzers in the cooler and asked to switch it, the bartender obliged. I felt it odd that the bartender didn’t know the menu. Again- excellent restaurant, just a little odd with service.

Printed beer list would be helpful. Our table wasn’t in the best spot (behind the host stand). Maybe other tables are better. But very happy we made a reservation.

Great location for a kind of sports bar style restaurant. We liked our server. Food was very chain restaurant-like as the dishes came out quickly and although they tasted pretty good, the salad and entree seemed premade, ready for a last minute prep before being served. I told my wife it was like a mildly upscale Applebee’s or Red Lobster. I’d still recommend The Post if you’re okay with this style of food, just don’t get your expectations too high.

We had a reservation for 6. The hostess was rude. She went to seat us at a booth that is probably comfortable for 4 but for 6 is very tight plus, it’s definitely only meant for skinny people. I asked if it was possible to have a different table and we wouldn’t mind waiting (meaning like a table w chairs not a booth) to which she replied well we have reservations & the tables are smaller. Again not sure she understood. Then the server came & set a pitcher of water on the table to let us serve ourselves, rushed us to order, then never came back once to refill the other drinks that were ordered or to even ask how our food came out. Very mid experience. Food was good. Service meh. For that alone, I wouldn’t go back.

This is set in a perfect location. The restaurant itself is very cool! The service was okay. The manager on duty was great! The food was just okay. We have been to the restaurant in Lafayette and thought the food was a little better. There were 8 of us and some of our food was cold when it came out but that might have been because of our larger group. They were very quick and great about replacing that food with hot food so we appreciated that!

We waited over an hour for food that was mediocre at best - After taking our order, our waitress disappeared(maybe went on a break) but she never came back. We had to flag down a different staff member to ask them about our food. Multiple other tables had been seated after us and already served. When we told them that it seemed to be taking a really long time, they went off to check and came back and told us that it had only been 20 minutes. We then told them that could not be right, because we had a 5pm reservation and when we were asking about the food, it was 6:08pm. A manager checked into it, saw our reservation time, apologized for the situation and did take some money off of our entrees. The rest of the staff went out of their way after that to be extremely nice and accommodating as well. We had hoped that when we did get our food it would make up for the wait, however, the food was very disappointing. The shrimp bowl dish only had 4 shrimp, the chicken tenders were tasteless and we had to keep asking for syrup for the waffles. You get 4 huge waffles but you only get a small container of syrup(about 1 to 2 tablespoons). With other good places to eat in Estes, Post does not seem worth your time or your money.

We wanted to check out The Post in Estes Park (having not yet dined there) and went encouraged by some of the reviews. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. We had an early reservation (before 5) and it was not super busy, but the service, while it started out well, faded to bad. The loud litany of f-bombs coming from there group of VERY intoxicated young folks across from us did not help. Our meals were not served together (my wife's sandwich arrived 10 min. after my meal), and the chicken was both dry and not particularly flavorful (bland). Best thing we ordered was the side of collard greens. We won't be back.

The waitstaff was very friendly and offered great suggestions. The place was busy but the food still came out in a short amount of time and was really good. Nice choice of food and drink.

Nice place, very good service and good location. The food is consistently good, but you better like chicken. I'm a local and come back regularly.

Loved this place! Everyone here was helpful and attentive. Teamwork seemed to be how they do business here. Delicious food with a variety of options.

We arrived for our 6pm reservation and were seated promptly. The restaurant was busy but our waiter arrived and got our drink order rather quickly . We had the Chicken and Waffles and a Chicken sandwich. Both were fantastic and priced accordingly. The staff was attentive and we had an amazing visit, we cannot wait to return.

Sadly 2 of us had fries that were quite cold. The fish from the fish and chips was hot but so oily I had to pick off the breading. The server and ambiance made up for the okay food. Cocktails were fantastic.

Thursday happy hour was a great deal! 2 for 1 beers, great buffalo chicken biscuit and a side of hatch green chili Mac and cheese.

Chicken was fantastic, grits were a tick block, not the texture of grits at all, Mac and cheese was good, deviled eggs were so small but tasty. Hostess was not the friendliest. Drinks were not well mixed.
