Our server, Nick, was awesome! He knew his stuff, and put up with our joking! Great food, catfish was amazing and rated at 5 stars by our friend from Louisiana. And the warm beignets, simply heaven! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Had brunch with friends, our server was well informed and helpful with suggestions when my friend couldn't decide on what to order. The food was very good, and we had a most enjoyable outing. All the staff were friendly too!

The atmosphere is wonderful but the food and choices of entree not so much. You can tell it is not the same food or cooks before covid. The sweet tea and water were the winners.

Service was not great, it was hard to get our servers attention to order drinks etc. The doors were open so there were flies everywhere which made it extremely hard to eat/drink without them landing on your plate, drink, table. Our food all came out at different times which was not favorable, because it meant that we either couldn’t eat together or everyone’s food was cold by the time the last dish came out. Overall it was not the best meal we have had.

Had a wonderful celebration dinner with my son at The Porch. We sat outside and enjoyed delicious Southern food. Some of the best Brussels sprouts we have ever eaten. Portions were generous, with plenty for leftovers. Finished things off with beignets- so delicious! They even printed a special menu for my son to commemorate the evening. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Terrific menu. Great location and awesome staff. Sunday Brunch for 16 on the outdoor porch. It was a celebration and they treated us very nicely. Food came out fast and was truly well prepared. Vegans at the tables were taken care of as well. All good and very delicious. Loved the location and outdoor seating too. Thanks.

Good food. Fair prices. Slow service but worth a stop. Brie cheese appetizer was fabulous. Fried chicken very flavorful. Had a good time

We booked a lunch for Mother’s Day. And I understand that a kitchen can be backed up, we were told this as we sat down it could take 45 mins to get our food. We were okay with this, what was a let down was our cold was barely warm and for $20 you would think there would be enough gravy to cover the biscuits….. our server was also very involved with the table behind us which delayed getting our check as well as her running our cards. Overall, for the price of food it was just not as great as previous experiences here.

Very busy Mother's Day so may have affected our experience. The beingets were delicious and a generous amount of berries were served with them. From there, though food went downhill. The cheesy grits were gloppy, dry and cold. none of the toast was actually very toasted, the eggs had mats on them and the biscuits was like tring to eat a cold lump of dough. Strawberry salad was just so so. We had good serrvice although slow becasue of the crowd i'm sure. I try not to give bad reviews of our Sacramento restaurants, but really they could improve on this pretty easily.
