This restaurant is a one-time experience dining establishment. (I’ve watched this chef on an old tv show and was excited to hear he had his restaurant in LA.) I enjoyed the experience overall but I will not be returning. We were greeted by security (not a host) and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. (When we had a reservation and arrived early.) The decor is cute although i do not understand the inspiration behind it. Music was great, drinks were cool and food did not disappoint. The most disappointing part of our experience were the waitresses. Not sure if it was because we were one of the two small parties there but for the price of the bill, service could’ve been better.

Chef Lawrence and Staff really went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. The food is out of this world. Soul food so elegantly elevated. 10/10. Koda our hostess was so nice and accommodating (I was early and had to wait on my party and reservation time) so i had a drink while i waited. The waitstaff really took care of us! Chef came out to check on us (well everyone there) he’s so attentive and hands on. This is a rare quality nowadays. Again everything was a 10/10!! Can’t wait to go back!

I was not pleased with my food choice which was fish, mac n cheese and a garden salad. The garden salad only had lettuce, onions, and cucumbers. I was hoping for tomatoes and cheese as well.The mac & cheese was overcooked and dry . Also, the liquor selection was very limited and they did not allow for any type of modifications/substitutions to the entrées.

My son and I went on a Thursday night for his birthday. It was quiet in the restaurant. Our waitress Dominique was very inviting and answered all of our questions. The food was amazing!!! We also met the owner, Chef Lawrence. He is a people person. Anyone living in or visiting LA looking for good Soul Food, Pink Teacup Villa is the spot!

It's a very nice little place with great service and host! The food, well the shrimp and grits were amazing, my friend had the pork chop and waffle which she said the pork chop was very dry and our husbands had the chicken breast and waffle which they said was good. However, the quantity of food, especially for the chicken and waffle doesn't equal to $38 for one piece of chicken and one waffle. But I guess we paid for the location. Even though I feel it is way overpriced I will go back for the shrimp and grits, which was worth the $38.

We went to the Pink Teacup Villa to celebrate a Milestone Birthday 💫 We were very pleased starting with the maître that greeted us, located our reservation and escorted us to a lovely reserved booth. Water was brought to the table and an infused water selection mentioned if we were interested. Our waitress was awesome, great energy and helped with making choices to eat. We opted to have shrimp & grits and waffles & Catfish to share. All of the food was delicious. Gravy on Shrimp & Grits was delightfully savory with onions and bell peppers. The Belgium waffle crispy outside and soft inside and Catfish had a light crispy coating that was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing, high energy. All staff pleasant and welcoming, the decor was trendy and great music selections. The music was a little loud but overall the experience was fantastic. A must try for the experience, great food and ambiance. Was a great location for dining as well we’re going to The Pantages Theatre for a show 🎭
