Food was pretty good. Prices are getting a bit out of control. Service was worst we have had. Didn’t get our entree orders in until we were well done with our starters. Took 20+ minutes to get bill after we were done eating.

The menu is on the smaller side. It does have options that should appeal to most- vegetarian, meat, gluten free, etc. The portions are generous and many dishes can be shared. The beer and drink selection is decent. The service was good. It can be loud inside, especially if there is a noisy group in the bar or at a table. I wouldn't recommend this place if you wanted to have a quiet conversation, but otherwise, I highly recommend this place if you want good food and enjoy a lively atmosphere.

We dined at The People's Kitchen for the first time on a Sunday evening for dinner. The servers were very nice and polite, they just didn't fill water glasses all that often. Our dinner took a LONG TIME to come out; maybe 45min? The food was delicious though, once it arrived. A couple people at the table commented about the portion sizes, but I thought there was plenty. Maybe not the usual American excess but an ample amount on our plates. I would definitely go back for the food with the expectation that my dinner might take a while. Probably wouldn't take my family or go on a date night when I have a place to be in a timely manner.

We had a fantastic meal and service got our group of 9 during a very busy MSU graduation weekend. Our server was outstanding!! Very knowledgeable, anticipated all of our needs, and was fun to interact with. The food was simply incredible. Beautifully presented, just the right flavors and texture and appropriate portions. The drinks were appropriately boozy and delicious as well. Our only slight complaint was that it was very noisy, but it kind of goes with the vibe of the place. Our entire experience was top notch! I wish we lived closer and could visit frequently!
