The Pearl, le restaurant de Cameron Mitchell, est un bijou culinaire bien poli qui met en valeur une cuisine faite à la main, des cocktails d'inspiration classique et une sélection exclusive de bières variées. We had a wonderful experience at the Pearl. Three of us went to dinner for Mother’s Day, and as such, it was quite busy. Service was a bit slow, but very attentive, and our server was both friendly and quite knowledgeable about the menu. The food was amazing. My wife had the short rib, which is becoming her regular entrée. Here, I had to catch of the day which was a seared tuna, and my mother had a halibut Mother’s Day special. All three of our desserts were amazing; cherry pie, brown sugar, butter, pie, and the Reese’s special. Overall great experience. Only criticism was that the music was quite loud and in an already busy restaurant, the room was at a “dull roar” the majority of the time.

We mistakenly reserved the table in the Short North, Instead of Dublin.... however it was just as great....

The restaurant doesn’t put everything that’s in the dishes on the menu. I’m not suppose to have corn and the salad I ordered has it even though it’s not listed on the menu. The server said that’s the case with several items on the menu.

The Pearl used to be our favorite restaurant in Columbus. Disappointed that our reservation for 6 was smushed into a small booth. Service was okay. Food was good but their prices have skyrocketed!! Just not the “I can’t wait to come back experience” we’re used to..

The Pearl in the short north is great for brunch or drinks and dinner for a young energetic crowd. If you are looking for a nice early dinner/late lunch atmosphere as a family, maybe not. They had the lights out and candle light by 4:30pm and it was just dark and not necessarily “loud” just buzzing with the energy of people who were likely gearing up for a night out or so maybe? I was hoping for something different but the service was impeccable and it was not a negative experience just not the experience I was hoping for at 4/5pm while the sun is still up and all.

Food and service were fabulous. It is deceiving from the street - inside it is longer than you would think. With that it is brick walls and all open so the noise is significant. This isn't a bad thing unless you were looking for a romantic quiet dinner. Plus side - energy was great and again the service made it all the better. Waitor was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations that we would not normally order but tried because he sold it to us ;-)

Visited before a Bruce concert. Nick our server was great. Food was excellent and arrived in a timely fashion. Arctic Char and Walleye special were standouts as were the Muscles. Would highly recommend

Third visit. Every time we come to town we make a reservation and we’re always happy. Service this time around was at its best- our sister was wonderful- offering helping suggestions. We left very full having enjoyed a wonderful meal: Hanger steak (wonderful pineapple marinade) Fish and chips delightful Kids fried chicken Jalepeno spoon bread excellent - I dare you not to like it.

We love the Pearl. Our food and server were wonderful. The one complaint I have is that we sat in the back of the restaurant and it was freezing. They had the air on blast (it was only 50° outside), and in contrast the front of the restaurant was warm and comfortable. Our server kindly tried to turn down the air for us(didn’t make much difference), but everyone in the back portion of the restaurant dined with their jackets on, which was not ideal.

Another wonderful experience at The Pearl, Short North. When we travel to Columbus it’s always on our list of places to eat. Drinks were delish as was the jalapeño spoon bread. Very tasty! We had the shrimp and grits. Very creamy grits and the sauce was great! The pork puri puri was delicious and a very ample serving size. The server, Chris, was friendly, attentive and very friendly. Another great meal at The Pearl. It won’t disappoint.

Our waiter was a true service captain: he greeted and made a positive connection and made certain he understood our dietary restrictions and taste preferences. He checked promptly after our drinks, dishes and dessert were delivered to confirm they were satisfactory. He deserved and earned a healthy tip. The oysters were good, not exceptional, and the shrimp and grits dish was great, but the char was only fair and the roasted cauliflower stole its thunder and rated only three stars. Would recommend a visit.

The Pearl is always one of my favorite restaurants to eat at whenever I visit Columbus. I met a few girlfriends in town and we dined like queens. The oysters were excellent, our server was attentive and friendly, and the cocktails were delicious. We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I visited this evening for my birthday and it was wonderful! The food was delicious and our server, Sydney, was attentive, kind, and so helpful. I had the fried chicken (with sticky bun) and my husband had the fish and chips. We also enjoyed tavern fries and deviled eggs for starters, and each had cocktails! I am so glad we chose the Pearl for dinner and that Sydney was our server. It was a fantastic experience and I would absolutely recommend!
