The Pavilion Restaurant - Open 5 Days Per Week

The Pavilion Restaurant is open for lunch Wednesday to Sunday and features lovely views to The Calliope Vineyard, across the vast expanse of lawn. When the weather is fine, we open the French Doors & pull up the patio blinds, creating an alfresco dining experience. When it’s not so nice, we seat you in the inner restaurant, featuring plenty of natural light and glimpses of the vineyard and garden.

Our menu prepared by Head Chef Drew Buntine, features fresh, local produce, perfectly matched to the extensive range of Buller Wines from our wine list. Our entrées are perfect for sharing and Drew's Grass Fed, Eye Fillet Steak, with a Balladeer Jus is a winner with steak lovers. For guests who enjoy to finish their meal on a sweet note, our Sticky Muscat Pudding with Muscat Sauce is perfect with a glass of muscat.

Lovely restaurant. Surroundings & ambience very nice. The restaurant overlooks the vineyards. Exquisite food, beautifully cooked. The service was very good. Food a little on the high side but well worth it. Perfect for a large group or function as the restaurant is very large & spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Would highly recommend a visit, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Food was average quality and size for $. Crispy fish not crispy and lamb overcooked. Entrees pretty good. Service average. Waited 20 minutes after mains were cleared and no one came to our table so we had dessert and coffee elsewhere. Better value for money elsewhere in Rutherglen.

Great service, Kelly is lovely, the food was beautiful, the only suggestion was the lamb and veg potion size could have been a little bigger. A very nice space.

Beautiful country setting for dining with views to rhe vineyard and outdoors. I enjoyed the Barramundi with mango salsa - the fish was cooked perfectly! The muscat pudding was delicious - served with both a small serving of cream and icecream. Our second visit to the restaurant and we will go back!

Best lunch in and around Rutherglen. Steak and sides with a jus that was next level yum. Sticky musket pudding to die for.

What could have been a really lovely experience was unfortunately spoiled by sticky little flies even though we were seated inside.

Outstanding, in every way. Service was very good. Food was excellent, the wine was superb. You must have the Calipee Shiraz with the Eye fillet. Just do it.

Just a gorgeous place for lunch over looking the vineyards and grass lawn under the trees. A smaller but delicious menu, and the chef was awesome at catering for allergens, and the flavours all worked beautifully. Make this a go to when in Rutherglen.

The restaurant is in a beautiful setting and the service and ambience were great. The food and wine were both good. Unfortunately it is a small menu and so doesn’t cater for various dietary requirements, e.g. the dessert menu was heavily dairy oriented and there were only light and heavy milks for the coffees and teas.

Thank you for making our birthday wine, tasting and lunch experience such a joyful occasion. The wine tasting was done with lots of love and laughter and the restaurant is absolutely fabulous. Not only did they serve great food there.m, they also did so with minimum staffing and yet made us still feel welcome.

We were the only customers that day hence quiet noise level. The food was beautifully cooked - calamari was melt in your mouth. All the food for the 4 of us but full of flavour, well cooked and good sizes without being big. Would definitely come again

We really enjoyed our lunch at the Pavilion Restaurant. The food was delicious, particularly the deep fried rocket on the scallops and bruschetta. The service and ambiance was perfect. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our meal ,it was nicely presented Service was great and food was wonderful We would have enjoyed the ability to have a coffee or tea after our lunch,but overall we were very satisfied and will definitely come again. Thanks Lyn and Dennis .

All round great place for lunch with 4 of us. The mains (Eye Filletx3 & vege pasta) were outstanding & all of us had the sticky date pudding. Accompanied by Bullers wines, not marked up ridiculously (like some other nearby winery/restaurant). And the bill was very reasonable (better than opposition). Service was very pleasant & happy, and spoke very well about Bullers. Good partnership. There was one very noisy table of 25-30yo, and they were positioned well away from other diners… but we’re still very noisy.

Went for Easter Saturday with a group of 8. Easter menu special was very good, we all thoroughly enjoyed the meals. This has become our go to place for a winery lunch.
