Very nice place. Food is very good and price is good as well. Service seems very slow with a very long time to receive your meal. Very nice place just need to improve service and speed up the kitchen.

Will never go back. Do not recommend. I saw questionable reviews and still chanced it and regret it. Oddest experience dinner ever. After 1.5 hours of waiting food was cold. Manager was beyond rude. Messed up the whole night. Do not go here!

We have tried PPH several times and can’t find a meal that draws us back. The salad is good. The nachos were decent. We have tried the ribs, salmon, pork, fish n chips, etc without finding anything that is more than mediocre. Service has never been great. The last time we went I had 3 bar drinks. It took 30 minutes each time I ordered a drink to get it. The bartender was very concentrated on the young males at the bar and took a long time to make our drinks. I talked to Angel, the owner, about this. The reply was that a bartender had called off. It’s not the first time I’ve heard the same excuse from this restaurant. Our food took 45 minutes from the time we ordered to the time of service. I’ve been to many restaurants (I LOVE trying new places) and this is on the extreme in my opinion. Our friends arrived at 6:50 on a Friday evening and we left at 8:45. No wait for seating. They should also let you know that there will be live music on the patio if they want to seat you there as it gets very loud in the winter. We would have asked for an inside seat if we had known. I have sent a private message to the owners about the need for help with their online presence. I was very polite and did it privately as I want to have another good option in Hillsboro to eat. I never received acknowledgement of the message. I hope management gets things on track for better service especially. It was rough.

Rated food as a 1 star for last night. Usually is 4-5 stars! Raw shrimp appetizers was served, then hard as rock fish served just after. No manager came to discuss at all. After sending 3 food items back to the kitchen, I was surprised. We go to this pub every Friday, this has been only time food has been really bad. Will go again, but management needs to step up their game if they want to remain popular, not many people would give it another chance.

Well, we walked in and thought we were in the wrong place, because there was line dancing lessons going on as soon as you walk in the door: this huge room that should be a dining room. We were taken to the patio (that was enclosed) where they were playing obnoxious very loud acid rock. So we went back into the line dancing room where they were playing country/western music. There were maybe half a dozen tables for people to eat shoved in a corner. I am so confused. I thought this was a restaurant. The building itself is absolutely beautiful the service and food mediocre. Based on the building itself you go because you think you’re going to get a really awesome experience “DINNING Experience”. I felt like I was in a gymnasium on the sidelines. Bizarre. Bizarre. Bizarre. Should this place decide to actually become a restaurant with food, service and ambience to match this gorgeous building; they might make a go of it. Until they do, I would never set foot in that place again.

Three couples traveling from different areas of ohio. Hillsboro is a central location so we were happy when we saw this restaurant being built. Great ambience. Our waitress was coving the tables and bar so she had to hustle and did a great job. The kitchen ran out the ribs after we ordered which was disappointing. The food was delicious. We will return.

Everything about our night was perfect. Friends, drinks, food and service. Drinks were on point, service was wonderful and our food was delicious. The seating is broken up so you had room to move. I would highly recommend the fish and chips.
