Serving our modern take on classic “Americana” cuisine, The Pantry reinterprets the traditional resort menu using a fusion of new techniques and influences. Highlighting the abundance of fresh ingredients sourced from California and the vibrant Coachella Valley, our menu showcases the rich culinary heritage. From farm-fresh produce to locally sourced meats and artisanal cheeses, every ingredient reflects the essence of our locale.

Executive Chef Shawn Applin graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. He eventually moved west and began working at restaurants, including Scala’s Bistro and Seattle’s Flying Fish, where he worked alongside James Beard Award-winning chef Christine Keff, Michael Mina’s RN74, and eventually 84 Yesler.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the resort being Adults Only 21+, we ask that no one under 21 are allowed at the restaurant.

The Pantry hosts a family-style Fried Chicken Dinner twice a month, on Wednesdays. The family dinner is a one- time seating at 6:30pm with only 40 seats per night. Each guest will have the opportunity to enjoy Chef Applin’s take on a traditional fried chicken meal with all the accompaniments. Enjoy dinner outside under the stars where guests will be part of a one-of-a-kind “family-style” dining experience. Reservations can be made through Open Table, or by calling the hotel directly. For any questions, please reach out to the front desk. Please cancel at least 48 hours before the event to receive a refund.

Slightly disappointing. Food was not that great (fried chicken) and they didn’t have their fans or misters on even though they said they would turn them in. We felt like outsiders there compared to the other guests and it was sooo hot.

The very pretty blue and white decor – something of a cabana feeling – is always appreciated and enjoyed, the misters were a wonderful feature on a 92° day in May. We were very thankful for the feature of a large container of chilled water with cups on a nearby table, as we sat for 25 minutes with nothing after being seated … Tah-Dah! (Read: Fail) :-P

Hidden gem. Fantastic experience. Food, service, ambiance were all A++! Aaron, Andi, and GM Chris really made the night for us. So friendly and accommodating. And Andi makes a mean cocktail! Thank you. We’ll be back!

Very charming little hotel with a well decorated restaurant. We ordered grilled artichokes to start which came with brown butter and aioli.. skip the butter and get double aioli. Then ordered a lobster roll and a fried chicken sandwich and a salad with double grilled chicken. When the food came, they brought two fried chicken sandwiches, no lobster roll and a salad with a single portion of chicken. They did take the items off the bill just disappointed in the mix up. The food was good not great.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Tucked away behind Holiday House Hotel in downtown Palm Springs. I’ve been 4 or 5 times now mostly for brunch on a weekend although we did go for one dinner. It’s like a romantic little outdoor bistro with crisp blue and white linens and green plants. The Dutch Baby Pancake is a must. They have both a savory and a sweet version. I particularly loved the sweet version with the berries and lemon curd. I have also had the fried chicken and waffle (oh my). The chicken is delicious. The French fries are always my favorite to start or the guacamole and chips. My sister in law is gluten free and had the French omelet with breakfast potatoes and she ate every morsel. They do have a full bar. I’ve only had mimosas but my sister had the Bloody Mary and thought it was fantastic. This is our go to spot now when we have company visiting. We are always treated well and leave satisfied.
