Our server was great and the restaurant wasn’t too busy. I didn’t think my steak was amazing, but it was good. Cooked how it would have wanted it.

I got the power lunch and it was incredibly amazing! My server and his assistant took out the time to sing to me for my 31st and I truly enjoyed every moment from beginning to end! I will be back!

Still recovering from Palm Too closure. West Side diff but food good. Ambience much diff and old retainers gone. Like downtown better but too far to go.

Ordered a 14 oz strip steak medium and an 18 oz steak medium rare. They brought the 18 oz steak out medium and the 14 oz medium rare. By the time the medium rare 18 oz came out when they realized they made a mistake, everyone was finished eating. I’ve never had this issue at a top level steakhouse before.

I've been a patron of The Palm Restaurant for many years. This year, I had a lunch with a good friend. The restaurant is absolutely elegant. Our server, Salem, was a dream. I had created my own personal cocktail and given Salem the ingredients on a card. Lo and Behold, wouldn't you know that the cocktail was made perfectly. I just love this restaurant. The Lobster Bisque was exceptionally good.

We had to wait to be greeted for quite a while Also the waitress took a long time to take our order’At the end of the meal I had to summon the waitress toClean the table to The food was very good and taste’Iwas cook perfectly.

We used to love The Palm on 2nd Avenue but since it closed decided to try this location but what a huge mistake. The food was terrible!! Ordered my steak medium (said a bit under was fine and not to overcook) but came out well done. I sent it back and the next one was absolutely blood rare!! How does a steakhouse not know how to cook steak properly?!?!? The manager came over to tell me how upset she was at the kitchen and was going to remove the steak from the bill . . . How is that making it right??? Did you really think I was going to pay for the two steaks you ruined and I did not even take a bite of??? She finally took a $12 beer off the $600 bill and gave us dessert. Absolutely outrageous and shameful. I guess the days of the Palm are over. With so many great steakhouses in NYC, this one to avoid at all cost.

Always consistent concerning feeling welcome, quality of food and service. While menu has been paired down of late, still offers the classics and kitchen will customize on request if available. Portions continue to be large and "family-style" sides accommodates many dining patrons.

Lobster arrived with hardly any claw meat in the large claw of a 4 pounder. The staff did handle the issue very well and prepared another lobster which was delicious.

The Palm offered me a comp as the service on our XMAS meal and experience was bad. However The Palm made it up to us this night. The service by Greg (he is the best waiter) was excellent. He checked in with us all night. The meal was exquisite. We got lobster bisque, crab cakes, and 2 filet mignon dinners. The fish was great and the steaks were delicious and meaty. Tasted great. The sides were bacon mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Both so enjoyable. I will continue to be a PALMS fan after this evening.

I celebrated my Birthday at The Palm. I have been going there for 22 years faithfully. They never disappoint. The food is excellent as well as the service. They tend to your every need. They decorated the table with nice shiny birthday sprinkles. I highly recommend it for parties (they have party/business rooms), business lunches or pre-theatre gatherings. Go there. You will love it. Great atmosphere with all the caricatures on the walls of famous people. Fun times.

Food was great,but service was very slow for lunch. We were seated promptly but waited almost 10 minutes before anyone came for drink order; then another wait for entree order; and so on. They may have been short handed on staff. Would love to try again.

Amazing meal at The Palm. Their power lunch special is the best deal in NYC. Delicious salad, catch of the day (halibut) and zeppoles for $32. Amazing service from Mayson as always. I still can’t understand why the place isn’t packed at lunchtime!

First visit to the Palm. Intended to have steak but opted for classic Italian instead. Food is divine and the Tiramisu is to die for - soooo gooooood. Little pricy but thoroughly enjoyed food, service and venue. Would highly recommend.

We celebrated my friend and my niece’s birthday for dinner …. The palm did not disappoint. The crab cake appetizer was scrumptious! Although they were out of the rib eye, we ordered a porterhouse that was superb…. Both taste, cook level and presentation! The creamed spinach & au gratin potatoes were great sides! The créme brûlée was good…. Although not my particular taste…. A bit too dense…. But we finished it! Overall, a very memorable meal!

This is our third time to the Palm West Side and I have to say i had a very poor experience this time. My prior times dining there were great, but I’m not sure what is happening there now. We had a 5:45pm reservation, which should have been plenty of time for our 8 o’clock show which was around the corner. We placed our drink orders and I had a feeling it was going to be a rough service because it took them 30 minutes to arrive and two of them were not made well. We were also told they did not have ingredients for one of the drinks so that person had to order a new drink. We ordered the tomahawk ribeye for the table and the waiter began describing a porterhouse steak, which we had to correct him on the cut of meat. The tomahawk that arrived was small, not well seasoned and not a high-quality steak. We have had the tomahawk there in the past (see photo of both steaks) and it was 100 times better than the one we received today. We had to remind the waiter numerous times that we had a show, and that we were worried that the meal was not going to be completed in time. We placed an order for dessert and the waiter returned several minutes later and told us they did not have ingredients for the dessert we had ordered. Saturday night in NYC and they are running out of ingredients at 6:00pm. We finally got our check at 7:45pm and had to race to the show. Stressful service and poor quality food. Sorry Palm, you might be off my list in NYC.

Great food & service. Loved the Shrimp Cocktail. Four very large and very fresh shrimp. I created a surf and turf for my wife and I to share. I ordered a 3 pound Lobster, and 18 oz New York Strip Steak. The kitchen split the lobster in half, cracked the claws, and served it on 2 separate large plates. It was fantastic. The strip steak was cooked medium rare as requested and presented thickly sliced so it would be easy to share. It was very tender and nicely seasoned. As good a steak as I have had at any high end steak restaurant. Our server Craig was helpful with suggestions, and very attentive. Seemed like a genuinely nice guy, and I'd be happy having him as my server again. Looking forward to returning again soon. Highly recommended.

The music was too loud, to have nice conversations with my date was hard. The wait staff was great at first and then seemed to slack off after dinner was served. We had to flag them down to get our check.

The waiter took our order. Then 15 minutes later, not the waiter but rather the maitre d’ came over and said they had no more lobsters which is what the four of us ordered. It took 15 minutes of eating bread, and having our drinks to be told they were out of what ALL OF US ORDERED. Very disappointing.

As a long time Palm customer, I was very disappointed in the quality of my steak tonight. Ordered a ribeye medium rare, and it came well done. Second steak was done right, but was as thick as a thin cut pork chop and all fat. There was more fat than meat. Really spoiled my birthday dinner!
