With pride and passion we’ll be serving freshly prepared locally sourced food and hand-picked beers, wines and spirits. The Oakfield has been lovingly restored and our new garden room offers incredible views of our award winning gardens.

Was a bit disappointed with the Friday evening menu choice, starters were nice but struggled to find anything on the mains and deserts that appealed to us. Service was very good, staff lovely, we felt quite cold in the conservatory as the doors were open and it was drafty especially as the night went on. Have had a roast on a Sunday evening in the past which was lovely, but thought we would try the Friday menu for a change, don't think we will go back on a Friday unless menu changes.

Couldn’t fault this place at all. Five of us dined one being gluten intolerant. Food was outstanding. Service couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasing. Will definitely dine there again. I would recommend this place to everyone. They go out of their way to accommodate everyone and their diets.

I wear hearing aids and we were surrounded by very noisy children, making the noise level unacceptable for me. Straight the staff moved us to a quiet part of the restaurant and we had an excellent meal and experience. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Ruby was our waitress.. a nice smile whenever she came to our table..we both had a starter-shrimp crumpet and chicken parfait and both had the lamb.. very nice and tender.. we couldn’t finish the lamb as on both courses the food was very plentiful.. next time we might just have a main.. thoroughly delicious

Ordered 2 roast beef dinners. Both Yorkshire puddings on each plate looked burnt and the roast potatoes reheated. On one plate there was 1 and 1/2 slices of beef (very thin). When asked if we could have more we were told by the manager we would have to pay for extra. There was definitely not as much compared to the other plate. We said it wasn't a fair portion of meat but she wouldn't give more due to Company policy without paying for extra. We said we were not willing to pay for the meal at which point she said she could exchange the whole meal? We agreed to this but surely it would have made more sense to offer a couple more slices of beef rather than a whole new meal? Baffled. The manager didn't seem pleased and cleared items off the table abruptly.
