Beautiful quaint restaurant. Took my mother and sisters here for Mother’s Day weekend! The desserts were amazing!!! The food was tasteful.

We love the Nash. The Turtle Soup is to die for! Last visit, we made a dinner of the appetizers. I’ve been pleased with the bartenders, as well.

Visited the Nash for an early dinner on Saturday after the Alley Theatre. To our surprise, the restaurant was empty upon arrival and there weren’t many diners that evening but we had a very lovely time. For appetizers, my friend had a salad and I had turtle soup. I don’t recall her commenting on her salad, but I assume she enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the turtle soup and would order it again. We shared the snapper and the surf and turf (steak and fish) as our entrees. The snapper was ok, but the steak was so delicious that we were bummed that we both didn’t order steaks instead. Service was excellent and in general, we enjoyed our experience and would return.

Husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Thursday before a show. We had trouble with parking due to no street parking in the area between 4-6pm. We ended up siting in the car for a bit until closer to 6. There was only one other table occupied when we arrived. We let our waiter know we had show tickets and he got us in and out in no time! We had the short rib pappardelle and the pork shanks. Both were excellent and portion size was just right. Normally we would expect a small salad or bread included with our meal, but we were fine with just the entrees. We also shared a very large slice of cheesecake for dessert. The food was all excellent, slightly spicy, and very flavorful. Our waiter was very good. The prices were a bit on the high side though. Our one complaint was they charged us $15 instead of the menu price of $10 for the cheesecake. My husband figured they charged the extra for us splitting it, but I have never seen that happen anywhere else. He was happy with the meal though so chose not to question it. I think I would definitely question such a large up charge if we return, but other than that, it was a very enjoyable dinner.

I visited for Valentines 2025 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️service / food. Chef John Suarez out did himself. I had the turtle soup, chateaubriand steak and cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Everyone from the owner, our server and the waitstaff were so gracious and helpful. I will definitely be back soon.

We showed up on Valentine’s Day – a group of three who were in Houston on business. Didn’t realize there was only a $99 price fix menu. Did not feel like it was a good value for the money.

We went on a Friday night and there was NO ONE there. I asked the server if that was typical on a Friday night, he said no and they were wondering where everyone was! Out food was delicious and the service was great. The restaurant is beautiful and we will absoutley return again. Thank you for an wonderful evening!

The Bento Box was a fantastic lunch option!! I would visit again for lunch. A nice setting downtown, perfect for professional work meals.

We went here for Happy Hour. The lamb lollypops were small and had mostly fat. The tater tots were so-so. The waiter was not attentive at all even though the restaurant was not busy. Very ho-hum.

We found this gem while searching for a place to eat before a show at the Hobby Center. (About an 8 block walk) We met the owners and really enjoyed our meal. Only negative feedback is the food is a bit pricy which we were not expecting based on the 2 $$ listed on maps/Open Table. Because of the dinner menu prices it should have been at least 3 if not 4 $s… Salad was $14 and to add chicken it was another $15!! 😳 I couldn’t justify spending $30 on a salad so went ahead with the $54 8oz filet with a baked potato but the potatoes were mashed… not a baked potato like the menu said. But the food was just wonderful and we will be back.

For the price the food is just okay. Service was slow even though the restaurant was not busy. Atmosphere was nice and it’s very clean.

Parking at 2pm was easy. The menu had a small vegetarian list so that made me nervous but the options they did have were FIRE!!!

This restaurant is lovely. When we pulled up I was immediately relieved with our choice before seeing The Nutcracker at Wortham. They have a beautiful Christmas tree up, and the decor is very tasteful and relaxing. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Drinks were delicious. I had the Short Rib Pappardelle and my husband had the salmon with mushroom risotto. The Pappardelle was surprisingly spicy and had a very unique flavor. We really enjoyed it. My husband said his salmon was cooked perfectly and we are both ready to go back for more risotto. It was perfection! Everything was hot and fresh. The owner came over after our meal as not to intrude on our date night which was so thoughtful. The story of their menu creation is very interesting. I'll let him tell you when you check it out yourself...We'll certainly be back. Thank you for a very enjoyable dinner. Merry Christmas!

Portion sizes were laughable. Three of us got salads that were side salad sized and one person got the tiniest salmon filet ever. The dessert was even tiny. We felt ripped off. Won’t dine there again.

We arrived a little before our reservation time and were seated immediately because the restaurant was very quiet (especially for a Saturday night.) There was initially confusion between the two servers about who would be waiting on us but once that was decided, we placed our drink order. We then waited 35 minutes for the drinks and at one point another server placed a drink in front of us and walked away. It took 5 minutes to flag her down and explain this was not ours (but apparently for the table next to us). After waiting for almost 40 minutes and never having placed a food order we paid for the 2 drinks and left. This restaurant was seemingly understaffed and overwhelmed by the 10 occupied tables. We never saw food being run out of the kitchen, but did see the chef come out and start seating tables. It was a bizarre situation and we definitely won’t be back.

Good Happy Hour food and drink selections. The Korean Bacon with bao buns is excellent, and the tater tots is a huge serving. Sat at the bar but hard to get bartender's attention to get additional drinks, even though bar was not full.

Service was friendly and on point! Food was above average. Calamari was a little over-fried but the spicy marinara was delicious. Entrees were tasty but not memorable. Chicken sandwich was nicely spiced with a pleasantly hot finish on every bite. Short rib papparadelle was rich and tasty...the noodles more than the ragu. Didn't get the "mornay sauce" ...noodles were dressed a little watery. Wine by-the-glass prices were very fair and husband enjoyed a craft cocktail. We were there very early in the evening and the music was too loud and not the right ambience for the empty restaurant and the time of evening. We might return but will probably try another restaurant next time we are in the area.

Overall great lunch with work team. Not very busy at lunchtime at all. Tater tot appetizer was a little overcooked on the tots, overall good. BLT was delicious as were the fries. Three co-workers ordered the salmon, said it was good. A fourth ordered the pasta and it was spicier than anticipated from the menu description. They don't carry any dietary restriction menu options if that's needed.

The Nash is a great restaurant. I had passed by it for years and then a colleague and I decided to try it out one evening for dinner. It was better than we expected and we wondered how we missed this restaurant for so long! Since then, I've taken clients back for dinner several times and they have all have enjoyed the experience. I'll be back!
