The mussel and steak bar has been a firm favourite for over 17 years with worldwide visitors and Scots alike since we opened in 2005. We have been granted the most popular seafood and steakhouse by various organizations. Our restaurant has been awarded a member of the Scotch Beef Club because we have inspected and satisfied the criteria regarding the quality, provenance, handling and preparation of the scotch beef that is served.

                                Service was outstanding. Staff was friendly and attentive. We had reservations (recommended, especially for dinner at 1900 or later). I was mildly disappointed in my ribeye as I ordered it medium after first checking if it would still be a bit pink inside for medium (every chef is different, although they shouldn’t be). I was assured medium was the way to go. It was medium well, not a spot of pink. It was still tasty. I would say that you should go here for seafood as every seafood dish looked amazing.

                                We sat upstairs and the barman/server was very friendly and attentive. He explained the options and made great suggestions. The food was the BEST, and great value for money. I will highly recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover.

                                Not 100% clean. Seating have some crumb left from previous diner and table was wobbly. Otherwise service was prompt. Food was good. Price is a lil high
