Led by talented culinary duo executive chef / partner Brian Riggenbach and front-of-house extraordinaire / partner Mikey Corona, The Mockingbird offers a menu of comfort classics with a global twist and an ambiance of art deco diner whimsy. Walls are covered in beautiful custom-made wallpaper, painted tin tiles on the ceiling, windows open to two patios as weather allows and a larger-than-life mirrored bird sculpture overlooking the dining room. And then there’s the food and drink! Munch on a Mockingburger or Mac N Cheese (aka Feeling Grate!) while sipping an Old-Fashioned-ish or a Punchin’ Bag (ask about it – they are famous!). We also love hosting group events! We have a private dining room, an upstairs dining room and an enclosed patio, all perfect for bridal showers and bachelorette parties plus business lunches and corporate dinners. The staff was very friendly food was good. My wish is more vegetarian options. Cool different building and decor. Great green goddess salad and mashed potatos. The desert was divine chocolate dulce cream yummy.

Quirky and fun restaurant with patio seating available. Voted Best Burger in Nashville. Excellent cocktails with a twist on presentation. I ordered a salad with chicken. While chicken was dry, greens were fresh and tasty. Others on the party enjoyed their dishes.

The server ( I wish I knew her name) did such an amazing job being attentive, getting food out correctly and asking about an almond allergy. The drinks were amazing. The food was amazing. Cinnamon rolls are a MUST! The ambiance was gorgeous! Overall just a great experience! Highly recommend!!!

So fun and the only problem was having to choose between all the great options. We had bagel bombs, chicken sandwich and meatball sandwiches- all amazing! Service also perfect and fun, casual atmosphere.

Food was full of flavor. I had the Cuban sandwich (the pork was sooo tender) and my husband had the Flock Yes and loved it. We also ordered a cinnamon roll but had to take it with us after a couple of bites (yum!!). Definitely worth going.

We had an absolutely amazing evening! Great service and even better food!! The best food at had during our trip to Nashville! The service was amazing! We will absolutely be going back to the Bird on our next visit. I will continue to recommend this place to anyone who visits Nashville.

Food wasn’t up to par. They changed menu items on us without telling us, was supposed to be Trout with crispy potatoes and we got grits and the grits were so bad. Trout was under seasoned. Pasta dish we got was mush, the pasta was so overcooked. Service was slow but they got sat all at once so they were running around a bit. I’ve been here 3 times and the other times were amazing, this time fell very short.

We enjoyed a birthday brunch for my husband on a Sunday afternoon. We started with the avocado toast, bloody thirstys, and the tequila mockingbird. We all chose different entrees so we could share. The Oui Loaf You was a delicious take on french toast, the Hot Brown was so creamy with the cheese sauce, the Flock Yes was so flavorful with the chorizo, and the Taco The Town was huge and the salsa verde was so fresh! The atmosphere was pleasant and we did sit at the table after we finished eating but were not rushed by our server, Keely. She was great and very helpful with the menu descriptions. I was secretly hoping to see Maneet and congratulate her on her TOC win! We will definitely be back!

Our server was great and provided great recommendations. It was busy but he was attentive. Gave great recommendations when we couldn’t decide and everything was really delicious! We had the grilled cheese and totchos for appetizers, split Bird is the Word as our entree and then the peanut butter/ banana dessert and the cookie dessert. Had some leftovers. Atmosphere was fun and a little loud. We enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

We loved the food but overall we felt very rushed. The entrees hit the table immediately after our apps were cleared. Also there were 5 tables still sat and the staff started breaking the room down the minute the clock hit 9:00. Made us feel like we needed to leave. Our server also started highlighting what he loved in the menu and basically listed everything on the menu- it was weird.

I picked the restaurant because To Kill A Mockingbird is my favorite book of all time! And the second I walked in and saw the hostess reading a book, I knew I was in right place. Amazing ambience, and simply cute. Sebastian provided amazing service with the bonus of great tips about Nashville night life. The Rice, Rice, Baby appetizer and the Pasta La Vista were great, kudos to the chef!

Food was good. Service was disappointing, unfortunately. Our server essentially ignored us after taking our order and essentially only came back at the end. I was unable to order additional drinks, in part due to this. The food arrived late - the table next to us (who sat down after us) received their mains even before we received our appetizers. One of the servers delivering the appetizers apologised and blamed a large party on the delays. And to be fair, they did comp one of the appetizers, which was appreciated. If not for being ignored most of the time we were there, we definitely would have spent a lot more on drinks, dessert, etc. We were there celebrating a birthday and were very excited to try Mockingbird for the first time. By the end of the night, we just wanted to head out ASAP to one of our usual locales instead. The food was good and the inside has a really cool vibe. We’d recommend the place to others, especially if you care mostly for the food. But do not go in expecting a high level of service.

Fun waiter “bunny” complete with ears for Easter brunch. Interesting menu. We will be back. Only downside is parking. Warning sign on lot next door and street parking is LIMITED.

Cute spot. Great food & great service! Just what I was looking for. I highly recommend it. We had the Salmon & the Pasta as well as the grilled cheese appetizer & NOTHING disappointed. Beautiful presentation & generous portions.

Right when we entered for our reservation we were immediately greeted by the host confirming our table was ready. My wife and I had one of our first dates at Mockingbird in 2019. We came back tonight after the ballet at the grand ol opry for an impromptu dinner. We started off with the Rice Rice Baby and the burrata. Food portion sizes are good and the chef is consistent. We had the salmon as an entree. The chimichurri sauce and the crispy glaze was delightful. Our server, Leah, was friendly and observant. She was attentive and knew just the right time to come check on us. We will definitely be back for another brunch or visit soon! Really appreciate the staff here.

Loved our brunch here! The caffeine-me please drink was so yummy; I needed coffee to start the day and of course a beautiful Sunday morning calls for a cocktail coffee. Was so tasty! We got the bubbles in a bag and that was great too. We shared the omg blt, zucchini bread, and the brioche French toast; all were great! Also fresh bowls of fruit were fantastic, best fresh fruit at any restaurant! Everyone in our group loved it and it was one of our favorite meals from our trip to Nashville!

The ambience and restaurant is adorable! I thought the food was amazing. I really enjoyed the Seoul purpose and would totally order it again. The service was awful. From walking in the door to waiting forever for our bill. We sat forever waiting for a waiter…would have loved another cocktail but no one ever came to offer. The manager or whatever was fun and outgoing but other than that the staff really sucked. Thankfully the food was great so it was enough to come back and try again someday.

We had a great brunch experience at Mockingbird! The food was great and came out quickly. Portions are generous. I love that they offer mocktails for those of us who won’t drink alcohol but still want a full brunch experience. Our service was excellent. Highly recommend for your next brunch!
