Led by talented culinary duo executive chef / partner Brian Riggenbach and front-of-house extraordinaire / partner Mikey Corona, The Mockingbird offers a menu of comfort classics with a global twist and an ambiance of art deco diner whimsy. Walls are covered in beautiful custom-made wallpaper, painted tin tiles on the ceiling, windows open to two patios as weather allows and a larger-than-life mirrored bird sculpture overlooking the dining room. And then there’s the food and drink! Munch on a Mockingburger or Mac N Cheese (aka Feeling Grate!) while sipping an Old-Fashioned-ish or a Punchin’ Bag (ask about it – they are famous!). We also love hosting group events! We have a private dining room, an upstairs dining room and an enclosed patio, all perfect for bridal showers and bachelorette parties plus business lunches and corporate dinners. Was super disappointed with our experience at Mockingbird. Seated at a slow time, the service was horrendous. After we gave her our drink order, we then waited for about 40 min before our server came around to take our orders, even though we made eye contact several times. Despite the unique and enticing menu, the food was hit or miss in quality and temperature when it did finally reach our table. The Alfredo was a huge miss with lukewarm temperate and a broken sauce. The sausage corn dog was just awful. On the brighter side, our drinks were amazing with great service from the bartender Overall: would not recommend with all the other selections in Nashville.

Food was average, service was poor even though my daughter left far too much in tip for the service received. Ran out of water, drinks were not refilled and was never given the opportunity to order a second drink. The noise level was down high l, it felt like we were sitting a sports bar during a game. Will not recommend or return

We are repeat customers… we booked for my son’s birthday… the only reservation left was at 2:00… sadly they change over from brunch to dinner around 2:30 so it was easy to tell 30 minutes into our reservation they were ready for us to leave. 45 minutes after we got there they shut off the music and the waiter was waiting on us to leave. I would have thought we at least would have an hour. So just a tip don’t book the 2:00 slot….

The staff was very friendly food was good. My wish is more vegetarian options. Cool different building and decor. Great green goddess salad and mashed potatos. The desert was divine chocolate dulce cream yummy.

Quirky and fun restaurant with patio seating available. Voted Best Burger in Nashville. Excellent cocktails with a twist on presentation. I ordered a salad with chicken. While chicken was dry, greens were fresh and tasty. Others on the party enjoyed their dishes.

The server ( I wish I knew her name) did such an amazing job being attentive, getting food out correctly and asking about an almond allergy. The drinks were amazing. The food was amazing. Cinnamon rolls are a MUST! The ambiance was gorgeous! Overall just a great experience! Highly recommend!!!
