We’re an independent, family-owned bar and restaurant located in the heart of Penyffordd, North Wales.
Our menu is focused on modern, seasonal dishes using only the freshest ingredients and local produce. All of our dishes are made to order and we offer dining both inside and outside on our terrace.

Very impressed with everything (as usual). Myself, my daughter and my Grandad had a lovely meal celebrating his 81st birthday. Already looking forward to coming back

What a shame we was only visiting as this would definitely be a regular food was so good I can’t remember the last time I had a meal like this and very good value for money. A must place to visit if in the area .

Perfect place for a Sunday lunch and this week we celebrated my mums 85th birthday at the Millstone. The food and service were superb and the special attention to Mum was most welcome although I noticed mum switched her candles around to make her look 58!! Thank you to all at Team Millstone.

Food was lovely and the restaurant was charming but the service was poor. We don’t have a drinks menu on the table. We ordered a dessert which was forgotten about and the gents toilets were out of order

We often go to The Milestone, never disappoints. The food is top notch! I can honestly say I’ve never had reason to complain, there’s always plenty of choice, the staff are very attentive. The desserts are delicious. Throughly recommended.

Smart modern internal setting, good natural light. Very relaxed atmosphere,. Delicious food, excellent wide range choice of meals - hard to choose. Service excellent - very attentive and not rushed. Only our second visit, we will definitely be back.

Fantastic restaurant on our doorstep. Great choice of food and the service was impeccable. Everything on my plate was delicious and I have to recommend the lemon meringue pie - ok it’s my favourite but you don’t get it everywhere!

Best Sunday lunch ever! Cooked to perfection. Large portions...a real treat! The place is lovely.. not too big so not too noisy and the menu is very varied and has unique takes on the usual. Great!

Everything was good all of our party enjoyed the food and all plates were cleared. The only thing we felt cold the heating got better as the session went by , maybe we might book a little later when the room has had time to warm up. We would definitely book again

We cannot fault the Millstone in any way as each time we have visited everything has been perfect. Food freshly cooked and hot. Great service, polite, friendly staff.

Really enjoyed our first Sunday lunch and no complaints at all. Food was piping hot, cooked perfectly and presentation was lovely . Service was excellent and staff were cheerful and welcoming. Will return as this makes Sunday lunch a real treat.

The food was good. The Yorkshire pudding was burnt though and when asked for another because of this, I was given another burnt one. Maybe a little more variety on the Sunday dinner, some stuffing or option to add pigs in blankets. Seems as they were quite pricey.

Asked for mash potatoes to go with Sunday lunch but told this was not available even though Sausage & Mash was an option on the menu. Plus my chair was covered in bitten finger nails. Assistant kindly removed them quite quickly when told.

We met for a catch up lunch. Very good options from either a lunch menu, specials menu or the usual full menu - plenty of choice for everyone. We were greeted and seated by very friendly staff and supplied quickly with menus and water for the table. There was no sense of being rushed and once our order was taken our food arrived promptly, well presented and absolutely delicious. I'm sure we will be going back again.

Excellent meal here on Valentine’s Day! The steak was divine. Would be nice to have the option of 2 course instead of 3 on the set menu. Staff were lovely and helpful. First time trying here and would definitely be back!
