Chaque mois, le chef exécutif Fred Sabo prépare un menu de dégustation de 4 plats mettant en valeur une cuisine nationale ou internationale différente. Outre la grande carte des vins, le Members Dining Room dispose d'une liste de vins de réserve et de dégustation pour accompagner au mieux votre repas. Si vous souhaitez organiser des événements en famille, entre amis ou entre collègues, 4 salles sont mises à votre disposition à la location. Very expensive but worth it for the lovely dining room and views, excellent quality food beautifully presented, and attentive but not overbearing service. Great place for leisurely lunch between morning and afternoon museum visits.

Had high hopes. My husband got the tasting menu with wine pairings. The wine came in a timely fashion but every single course was super slow. Really serrated the purpose of the “pairings”. Then a large party (2 tables of 10) of well dressed older folks came in and took over our waitress!! Thankfully it was the end of our meal but after 20 minutes we had to as a busboy to get someone over to pay our bill. Lovely room but very disappointing service

a wide variety of items to select from. everything is great - the one difficulty is to get a table by the window since they are limited.

Excellent new menu, it’s a very enjoyable experience after a visit to the galleries, to have a view over the park and enjoy perfect food and wine with a loved one 10/10

I did not feel welcomed and the menu was not to my taste. The food was well prepared and presented but much too garlicky for my tastes. Service was borderline rude and slow. I would not recommend.

Always relaxing to dine in this lovely setting. Food is good, not great, although my duck breast was delicious. Portions are petite, prices are high. Service is exemplary.

Our server, I think his name was Micheal based on the receipt, was the best. He was very friendly and nice. The burger bun was very toasted and almost too crunchy, however the rest of the burger was good. Fries were good but a little too salty. Drinks were very good.

The reservation process was easy and respectful. We were greeted warmly by the reception area, and the service was attentive and professional throughout. The pork chop and the octopus were especially delicious. Also the desserts.

The location in ambiance as well as the service are all very agreeable. Tables are not too close together. Creating a comfortable and calming effect. The view is lovely. What is disappointing is the food. The portions are minuscule and what arrives is not all that good with a few exceptions. Practically Everything is deep fried, although the menu does not specify as much. The pasta course literally was 2 inch-Long pieces of rigatoni in an overly greasy sauce. The cauliflower appetizer was again a few tiny deep fried pieces of cauliflower in a bed of heavy sauce. A dining partner ordered the halibut, and I would say this was the standout of the menu. If I had to do it over again, I would surely make that choice instead of the again overly greasy crab cakes. Three out of four diners ordered the chocolate souffle, and three out of four diners Found it unimpressive. When you spend $100 per person and you leave hungry, despite having been served minuscule plates of overly greasy food, that is disappointing. If they could fix the food here, it would be an absolute delight.

This is the third time that I have dined at The Met Dining Room and it has exceeded my expectations every time. The food and service are excellent. All of the staff are welcoming and pleasant. The Host at the front desk is so nice and professional. The Dining Room is a quiet and beautiful restaurant to reflect on the Exhibitions and recharge in an elegant setting. The manager Elizabeth was most helpful in helping me rearrange my schedule even on a very busy day, Elizabeth is so gracious, and my guest and I truly appreciated that. The Met Dining Room is my restaurant of choice when visiting The Met.

Lovely place to take a break while Touring the Met. Service was great and food beautifully prepared and tasty. Back in the day when I was a member, it used to be the Members’ Dining Room but apparently open to the public now, which is great.

This was a special night out with a friend we dont see that often. We were served bread which clearly was not fresh because it was hard as a rock. Salads were ok but we all ordered the same pasta dish with broccoli. The pasta was TERRIBLE, undercooked, dry and served lukewarm. The museum is in the process of changing food vendors, maybe thats why it was so bad. I told our very gracious server about the pasta so they comped our dessert which was stale cookies. One guest had ice cream which was good. Not a good experience at all!

Met Dining Room never disappoints. Bar service needs to be more efficient. Having put in our pre-dinner drink order first, appetizer course arrived and THEN the drinks. Menu is to be commended; a good variety of dishes: something for everyone.

Beautiful room. Loved the food and the inclusive menu, with divider tabs. It’s all there. Duck was lovely. Nicole an excellent server and human being.

Our dishes came at separate times as the order was not correct , so one of use had to start the meal before the other dish came. No apology or credit was given.

David was a perfect host. He accommodated Jeanne’s food allergies and took care to make sure that our visit was memorable ! It was a perfect meal and we got to meet the head chef.

Lovely service as usual. The crab cakes were even better than what I remember. Hope they stay on the menu after the vendor changes. We shared the profiteroles which were great. Such a relaxing, delicious meal.

Great afternoon lunch experience. Food was mild to the taste but special enough. Service was attentive and pleasant. Some diners were inconsiderate standing around our table with their long and boisterous farewells but that was not the venue’s fault. Overall we generally enjoy eating there.

You have to be a member but it’s worthwhile. Beautiful room, delicious food and if you are there looking at the art work, it’s a marvelous place to dine!
