The Mermaid Inn is a warm, friendly, casually sophisticated neighborhood meeting place for dining, drinking and socializing. We serve seafood inspired from the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean. All our food is extremely fresh. “From the sea to the table” is how we like to put it. Happy hour Monday-all day, Tuesday-Sunday from 4:30 - 6:30 pm. $1.50 oysters & clams, drink specials and Mermaid favorites like our fish tacos, shrimp sliders and more. The service was fantastic. Everyone could not be nicer. We had left over food. The staff packed it up and held it for us. We went on an art tour. When finished we went back to Inn and they handed us our bags. Fantastic.

A consistently exceptional experience. Excellent food served with a smile and nice ambience. Time and time again the experience remains well above the rest. The oysters are to die for.

Although this was not our first time at the Mermaid Inn, it was our first experience at the HK location and hand’s down the best one yet. From the service to the food, we look forward to our return.

Always an amazing time. We sat by the big open window this time to enjoy the nice summer breeze. Perfect meal for 2: Split the Linguine and clams, each enjoy the simply Grilled Cod with a side of Asparagus, paired with a glass on Sancerre! Great neighborhood gem.

Nothing special. Our risotto was served with a piece of metal in it which was alarming. Restaurant has a poor smell. Questionable health standards.

We started with oysters which were amazing, but how can you go wrong with oysters 🦪 we also had cocktail shrimp which were okay…I’m used to Florida shrimp so I am biased….we had salads (Caesar and tossed) which were plentiful and extremely fresh. For entrees we had the cod, the tuna & and lobster roll. Every one was scrumptious! Highly recommended the tuna!!!!

Delicious meal with ample servings. The tuna was amazing, as was the linguine and clams. Beet salad was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Will return soon!!!!!

Amazing!! We came for after dinner drinks and apps and it was perfect! Our waitress was super kind and everything came out in perfect portions and in a timely manner. Very cute spot and definitely will come back!
