First time here and it’s our new favourite place to eat. Food was incredible. We had a pizza, a steak and cheese pie and a burger with fries. Two coffees and three cokes. Great value and delicious. Nice and clean and cozy and friendly. We’ll be back. Thanks to everyone who worked there in Saturday 11th May 2024.

I booked for a special birthday meal. I appreciate how busy it had been, but there were many choices that were not available. The desserts again had practically ran out as had the spoons it appears as we were told there were only soup spoons that we could use. Whilst the staff were pleasant, we had to go looking for them on more than one occasion. It was a shame my event clashed with a music event that was also being held. Overall it was just an average experience not the special meal that I had chosen the venue for. I can see the next question is about would I recommend the venue to a friend. I wouldn’t if they wanted to visit whilst another event was on as I don’t think they can cope, if no other event on, I would give a second chance.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Two of us had the roast dinner, it was delicious. The vegetables were cooked well and there was plenty of gravy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first meal at The Lord Combermere. Very bright & welcoming atmosphere. Quickly seated & given menus. We both had the mushroom starter, he had a Sunday roast of pork & I had the sea bass. Everything was absolutely delicious! Attractively served & lovely & hot. An excellent meal all round.

We are local to Audlem but don't eat out much. We had been to a party the previous evening at The Lord Combermere and the food was sensational so we decided to book in for Sunday lunch. It was so delicious and the portions were perfect size. The children's meals are exceptionally good value for money and my children ate every bit. Would highly recommend..... Cant wait to go again

Had a wonderful Sunday Lunch at the Combermere. The roast chicken was lovely and my partner couldn't eat his quicker! The staff were all lovely too.

Whilst roast dinner was tasty it arrived luke warm and practically cold by the time we’d finished. Waiting staff seem inexperienced and no-one apparently overseeing them. We asked for horseradish and apple sauce and waitress brought a tiny pot of each for table of 6 so we had to ask for more. No-one cleared our plates so we did so ourselves and stacked up on a side board. We were in the snug and just felt forgotten about.

We brought our family to dine at the Lord Combermere yesterday. It was their first visit to the village and the Lord C since we moved here 5months ago. The food, ambience and service were all of excellent standard as always. Thank you 🙏

We had 3 course Sunday lunch and it was very good 👍 only criticism is it could of been a bit hotter .It was great value for money and I'd definitely recommend 👌

4 dined, I had the beef and ale pie, quality of the meat was not good and had a limp roasted carrot on top and a sea of gravy poured over it, hubby had roast beef and pork , beef only came out well done and very salty gravy, no one asked if anyone had allergies.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch, great value. Only critique was the plate was cold so lunch didn’t keep warm for long. Would return though

We had an excellent Sunday lunch, our roast beef was very tender and delicious. The staff were busy but looked after us very well and checked we were happy with our meal and had everything we needed. We treated ourselves to puddings, the chocolate brownie was yummy and my husband had the cheesecake which was equally sublime. There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub, lots of families having lunch, dogs are welcome. We hadn’t been to the Lord Combermere for a few years. We loved it so much we booked for the Valentines special meal.

Absolutely brilliant Sunday roast. As a coeliac, most of the menu would be adapted to be gluten free. The gf Yorkshire puddings were amazing! Staff were friendly, great wine list and nice atmosphere. We will be back soon.

We had an evening meal at the Lord Combermere as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations. Although it was a Saturday evening, it wasn't overly busy. I appreciated that they were able to cater for gluten free (GF) dining options, with a large part of the menu GF or availability of GF options. The staff were pleasant and helpful and there was no fuss. Overall, a good quality pub dining experience.

Excellent!! Service was superb by all the staff, especially Chloe. Food was out of this world. Restaurant was a lot busier (compared to last visit) but the food, service and friendliness of the staff remained impeccable. Better book early, once word gets out how good restaurant is, spare tables could be scarce.

Food delicious but a limited menu for our vegetarian grandson. It was a cold day and it was a bit crafty from french windows but waitress closed the curtains which helped

The fact that all of the menu was 'Gluten Free' was a very nice surprise, due to one of us being Celiac. The food was very good and we will definitely be going back.

Lovely meal we think the waitress was new as she made a mistake with the order but it was quickly rectified and we were not charged for the items that came late - order was slightly inaccurate but we didn’t mind (teething problems ) Shame about the flies and it was a birthday celebration mentioned on the booking

Having heard a lot of positive reports of the food at the re opened Lord Combermere, I booked for three of us as a Christmas Eve meal. We were only offered the Sunday lunch menu and would have preferred the other menu. We all ordered the roast beef, which we all found tough and one of our party couldn't eat hers. the parsnips and roast potatoes were hard/undercooked. We did tell the server this to no effect. I did notice that on a busy evening, I could only see three members of staff running the bar and restaurant.

Me and my boyfriend came in here for a date night yesterday, wanting to give it a chance with the new owners and it was absolutely amazing. LOVED them Korean wings and the fish and chips definitely lived up to the expectations we were hoping for. We even got cheeky trying the hot chocolate and brownie which were both worth the value. We will definitely eat here again, we are just hoping for a bigger menu in the future! Thank you :)
